it's poetry in motion tbh
Who| Bruce (or, later, the Hulk) and open!
What| Trying and ultimately failing to stay alive
Where| First around the surface, then later on in a crevasse!
When| All through the second week!
Warnings| Is the Hulk a warning? There might also be some thoughts on past suicide attempts.
Notes | Earlier in the week, he'll be Bruce; after slipping into a crevasse with De and co, he'll be the Hulk for the majority of the remaining time! Tell me which you'd like to see in your tag, or make it obvious by the setting (if you're in a crevasse, you almost definitely get the Hulk).
Those up on the surface will see a not particularly threatening sight; Dr. Bruce Banner, grabbing his coat closer to him and trying not to stumble around in the snow. He keeps moving only because being killed means putting on a show, so he'll only stumble around to an area where it looks like no one's around before sitting down to pile up some snow as a windbreak and try to figure out how to get out of this.
The one time he could really use the other guy, of course, is when he's already gone; maybe this time he'll actually die when he climbs up into the Arctic and throws himself into a miserable hole. At least it'd give him a sense of closure.
Those down in the crevasse, if they happen to be around at the right moment, will hear a heavy thud, and maybe feel the ground shake. From that point on, they might catch a glimpse of an enormous green monster shambling around in the small space; maybe he's trying to climb back up, or maybe he seems to be looking for something. Maybe he's got a little less self-control than all that, though-- maybe he's just smashing shit.

Uh crevasse lol~
She had just started feeling her eyes droop - it was so, so cold, even with the whispers in her ears and...who knew where those came from, maybe she was hallucinating - when suddenly, things began to shake. Violently. She let out a gasp as some icicles fell onto her, and then ones from further up crashed onto the floor around her.
Oh, this didn't sound good. Not at all.

This was not the best of circumstances.
This space is small and tight, and as he forces his way around the path, pieces of ice fall on him from above, only making him turn to try and identify some unseen attacker. He's not so much moving as fighting against the ice, and that doesn't bode well for people around him.
Enjoy the giant green angry thing, Chibi-Usa.

Chibi-Usa let out a cry as she saw the creature closing in, smashing everything in its way. She found herself pressed again the wall of the crevasse, her heart pounding as the creature came ever closer, ever angrier.
Was this the end? Was she going to die right here?
Was she-
No. No. She wasn't going to die like a scared kid. She had to fight. She was a sailor soldier. Somehow, she had to fight and live. She had to be brave. She'd been at that point of fright once. It caused too much heartbreak.
Never again.
To make herself feel the way she was thinking, she thrust her hand up, knowing it wouldn't work, but hoping she could at least be a placebo. Perhaps enough to help her climb out of this place.
"Pink Moon Crystal Power...Make-Up!"
She wasn't expecting to actually transform.
Which was why the bright pink light which suddenly burst from her body was such a shock.

But all that's for later, because right now all he's aware of is the burst of light, shining strong in the darker crevasse, amplified by the ice around them. He raises a huge hand to shield his eyes and ducks his head-- he knows most things won't hurt him, but they're annoying. He's got enough sense of logic left to punch the side of the wall, to try and shake down some ice and snow to make it stop, then roars, a warning against a possible threat.

She didn't feel the cold as harshly, like this. The familiar, warm power was building within her, like a stellar furnace. Just like it was supposed to be.
The power wasn't entirely there, she realized. But it was enough.
It had to be.
"For love and justice, Sailor Chibi-Moon!" She pointed at the green creature. "I won't let you hurt people senselessly like this! In the name of the moon...you're punished!"
Hopefully, now that she had the being's full and undivided attention. Otherwise, she was most certainly dead.

Crevasse, but not involved with it lol
Quickly, he grasped his knife, and carefully positioned himself closer to Momoko. At least, if trouble was coming, they should be prepared to get out of there.
"Momoko..."

And this guy? He looks like he's seen some rough days. But also like he is not entirely prepped to shank someone for a cup of coffee.
So, on the scale of 'Safe' to 'Dead' he ranks pretty close to safe, and, as such, approachable.
"Hey, sailor." She called, approaching cautiously, still. She wasn't planning to let her guard down entirely.

"I think I left my boat at home," he replied easily, holding his hands up casually to show they were empty. He wasn't foolish enough to blindly trust people, but he wasn't interested in winning; if his life wasn't immediately in danger, he wasn't opposed to some company. Talking instead of fighting was a pretty good protest, right? "You wouldn't happen to have a spare, would you?"

She gave a friendly smile, moving close enough to carry on a conversation without yelling. But far enough away she could still get back, if needed.
"Having a grand old time here in Paradise here, I see. I'm De."

All things considered, though, he really preferred it to bleeding out from a fight (or, of course, the other option, but he never wants to think about the other option). Freezing to death was boring. That's the best he could do in his situation.
"Bruce." It's a little odd, going by his first name only at his age to someone at hers, but he'd long ago stopped using his full name-- or title-- around when it could attract some unwanted attention. God forbid she was from around his time, or there could be some awkward questions.
He stands there awkwardly, before biting the metaphorical bullet. "There's a no shanking policy in this corner of the ice, but you're welcome to it."

He was doing good at getting her to as much ease as she was going to be around these parts. And they might as well share notes.
"You having any luck finding food? I'm never gonna have an omelet again."

crevasse
Then he remembered that he needed to go back out there, and he's been trying to climb up the side to no avail. When he sees someone falling in, his first instinct is to go break their fall, since he can do that now at little cost to himself. He doesn't get there in time and keeps running to see if he can save whoever it is and then realizes it's Dr. Banner. Shit.
Wait. Even more shit. EVEN MORE SHIT.
Okay, okay, he knows he knows the Hulk and he kinda likes the Hulk and everything but. Hulk's probably very indiscriminately angry and Steve needs to get the hell out of dodge.
no subject
Unfortunately, this transformation caught him off guard, and he's disoriented and angry and very much not in complete control.
He gives out a shout that echoes around the holes in the ice, and then, if the sounds that follow are any indication, starts running.
no subject
In one last-ditch effort, he hopes that the Hulk will recognize his face, or recognize his voice.
"HULK!" he yells, still far enough away. "Hulk, stop!"
no subject
He's not thinking clearly enough to follow the logic that someone calling out the name for the Hulk would have to be from his world-- and he doesn't seem to recognize that Steve is Captain America.
So he just bares his teeth, but at least he stopped charging around.
no subject
"You fell from up there." He points towards the top of the crevasse. "Or, uh... Dr. Banner did."
He looks apologetic. "We're in kind of a mess, Hulk, but we're gonna find a way out of it, alright?"

Spotting a giant green person down there, though, is not what he'd expected. He hunkers down at the edge to stare down, from behind his dark goggles, brow furrowed and trying to figure out just who that guy might be. Not anyone announced... or anyone he saw in the Cornucopia... it doesn't help that Hulk isn't exactly standing still.
no subject
He's not even being particularly loud, it's just not possible for him to be quiet; the fit is a little tight and he has to force his way through sometimes, chipping off a few pieces of ice as he goes. He looks like he's looking for something, too, scanning left and right as he lumbers-- but just at the ground and the ice up to his eye level, tall as it may be.
no subject
He's pretty sure, anyway.
no subject
He's figured out that trying to climb up doesn't work very well by now, so instead he slams a fist into the side of the ice, trying to knock either the ice or the other guy down.
no subject
There is a little balloon floating down somewhere behind him, though, a new gift from a sponsor or something. Riddick ignores it for a second.
