it's poetry in motion tbh
Who| Bruce (or, later, the Hulk) and open!
What| Trying and ultimately failing to stay alive
Where| First around the surface, then later on in a crevasse!
When| All through the second week!
Warnings| Is the Hulk a warning? There might also be some thoughts on past suicide attempts.
Notes | Earlier in the week, he'll be Bruce; after slipping into a crevasse with De and co, he'll be the Hulk for the majority of the remaining time! Tell me which you'd like to see in your tag, or make it obvious by the setting (if you're in a crevasse, you almost definitely get the Hulk).
Those up on the surface will see a not particularly threatening sight; Dr. Bruce Banner, grabbing his coat closer to him and trying not to stumble around in the snow. He keeps moving only because being killed means putting on a show, so he'll only stumble around to an area where it looks like no one's around before sitting down to pile up some snow as a windbreak and try to figure out how to get out of this.
The one time he could really use the other guy, of course, is when he's already gone; maybe this time he'll actually die when he climbs up into the Arctic and throws himself into a miserable hole. At least it'd give him a sense of closure.
Those down in the crevasse, if they happen to be around at the right moment, will hear a heavy thud, and maybe feel the ground shake. From that point on, they might catch a glimpse of an enormous green monster shambling around in the small space; maybe he's trying to climb back up, or maybe he seems to be looking for something. Maybe he's got a little less self-control than all that, though-- maybe he's just smashing shit.

"Hey, sit down, I'll figure out a way to get us up, alright?"
If Hulk digs enough, they could possibly build a mountain of ice to climb on. Not that Steve likes that idea, since he's not a big fan of ice, but it's not like there's a particularly good better option.
He takes one of the pieces of ice and throws it against the top, just to see if there's some sort of trouble with the ice wall up there. It... seems normal.

He sees Steve throw the ice-- he doesn't even seem to know why they're doing it, but he can do a lot better than that puny throw, so he hauls up his own chunk of ice and whips it at the top of the ice wall too.
And then looks smug as he grins at Steve.

"How high can you jump?" he asks, because they are... pretty much out of other options at this point.

He looks up and down the space left to them, the height of the crevasse and the amount of space left to get a running start. It was that that was the problem, not enough of a straight line to run in to build up the speed he needed to really get himself out of here. He could break apart a clearer path....
He shakes his head, then looks directly up at the edge, then back at Steve. He wouldn't be able to get himself up there, but maybe...
Suddenly, he picks Steve up with one hand-- he's conscious enough to be gentle-- and charges at the side of the ice, scrambling against the wall and digging in his free hand and his feet. The ice starts crumbling immediately under his weight, but he just needs a second to lob Steve up and over the edge before he slides down too far.

Well. Okay.
As soon as he's done being not-dizzy, he slowly makes his way to the edge and looks down. There is no way he can lift Hulk up from there. "Hulk?" This is impossible. This whole situation is fucking impossible and he's going to need a lot of good ideas to fish a Hulk out of ice.
"Hulk, you stay down there. I'll come back with help. I'm not leaving you." He doesn't think it's necessary to tell him not to turn into Dr. Banner-- there's no way he can survive down there, but maybe if he can find a climber, they can help carry Banner back up...

He just waves his hand dismissively, narrowly avoiding smashing aside another chunk of ice, and motions for Steve to get going to whatever it is is so urgent up there.
