Warnings/Notes| Groot is very limited in his verbal communication, he can only say “I am Groot” and the rest of his communication is through verbal infliction, expression, and gestures, so it's very much like playing with a character who's mute. Karkat's been in the arena for an hour, maybe two. It's the crowning glory to an unbelievably shitty night, which began with him and his friends fighting the Black King and ended with a bunch of weird hornless aliens shoving him into a tube and sending him into a death match. The part in the middle where that demon-barkbeast-carapace-thing destroyed the door into their new universe just before Karkat slipped into unconsciousness hadn't helped either.

He's managed to pick up a few things via breaking into some of the little commerce hives that line the thoroughfare leading up to the big yellow horn-shaped cavity. Nothing that great, though. Certainly no weapons. The large spool of grey thread might come in handy once he can find a needle, but until then...

Well. When Karkat manages to score some more supplies, he'll figure more shit out. He's taken his cloak off, figuring that if nothing else he can use it as a makeshift garrotte for now, and waits in the dark spaces between buildings, hoping to get the jump on someone. Preferably someone with supplies.

All the rope bridges are gone, and the stairs aren't doing well either, sagging and rotted wood. The platforms are in a bit better shape, though some stagger under the weight of their fake props and the remains of figures that once decorated the attraction.

Although anything truly useful had been taken sometime before this arena by other hands looking to survive, enough useless props still clung to make the nature of the location obvious. And even without the bridges and stairs, the solid tree had plenty of grips to scramble up.

The 6 bags were spread throughout the platform, made of aged looking net and rope. Within could be found a butterfly knife, a flint to make fire, a length of rope, two cans of food, and drops to purify water. A valuable bag to grab.

Warnings/Notes| Any group is being targeted to be separated. Everyone should be tagging someone they are not with, as well as those they are, as the Gamemakers are driving them apart. (You can feel free to search for, and possibly find your buddies later)


Once upon a time, when this place was a much happier place, fireworks would light up the sky, delighting children and leaving everyone with a magical feeling in their hearts.

This will not leave anyone with a magical feeling.

It was much later than a fireworks show would have ever gone. Closer to dawn then not, when anyone who could rest, even those far from it, would have finally managed to drift off.

It started with a strange, warbling music. For those familiar with this place it feels wrong, close to something they would connect with this show, but wrong. Distorted. Stumbling through a few bars, it starts to peter out just in time for a high pitches whistling.

And then the first firework explodes into the ground in a shower of bright colors, lighting up the castle. There is a moment of silence as the sparks fade.

And then all hell breaks loose.

Whoever is controlling the fireworks obviously have goals in mind. The strikes are tight, controlled. They are herding. Targeting the groups, the pairs, driving them apart.

The fireworks aren't made to kill (although a direct hit may), but they burn flesh, and leave anyone who looks at them too close momentarily blinded. Ever one is a shrieker, loud, louder then the shrillest fourth of July fireworks, screaming toward their targets. The arena is suddenly a shrill battleground, full of blindingly bright colors.

Th whole attack doesn't last longer than 20 minutes, petering off as the divisions have been deemed enough. A few squeal through the night here and there and then finally, blissfully silent.

Who: Adachi and you!
What: Exploring Fantasyland, before looking for food.
Where: Around the tipped over train in Fantasyland, gradually migrating over to other areas to explore.
When: Any day during the first week.
Warnings/Notes: Adachi's powers are active in Fantasyland; he only has Izanagi at his disposal and he's not out to kill anyone, but that doesn't mean he won't kick your ass if you try to mess with him. He's going to try to make the tipped over train his base, but he still needs food and stuff, so he'll probably be looking around all over the park, so any area is open; if you're not sure, feel free to send a PM and we can plot.
