Ian had thought he'd been doing pretty well. He'd not got himself killed and only got in fights with monsters. That ought to be entertaining enough to keep the capitol off his back for a bit. Or so he thought. He discovered otherwise when he got a gift of food and water and a note, reminding him of what would happen should he choose to rebel. He wasn't really in a position to be choosy about what he ate, so he didn't waste time deciding if the food was poisoned.

However he killed anyone, it would have to be quick, which meant avoiding a fight. Which in turn meant setting traps. The fog was a help - it would conceal both him and the traps. He lay out his supplies and got to work.

Some time later he had his trap. He'd created a wire trap that led into the tree beside the house he'd camped in. The bait was some of the water he'd been given. He was just waiting for someone to come by, then he'd throw the water out and whoever it was would think it was a parachute for them. Once they stopped to look at it, Ian would tighten the noose and whoever it was would be hanging by the ankle from the tree.

If you want to run into him during the superspecial hell arena, there's a prompt for that! Watch this space for week 3 edits.
