[open] You're a stone-cold killer, you say--
Who| Anna and you.
What| Arena shenanigans, go!
Where| The food court, the book store, and the Arendelle Boutique, as well as various open locations where your character might run into her at your discretion!
When| Week 1.
Warnings/Notes| Probably...not? Will update accordingly.
one. the food court
Anna's taken to venturing out to the daily food court meal cautiously, skirting around the edges with her weapon in hand, taking enough to feed her, Elsa, and Kristoff, and then darting back around. She avoids open spaces; too much room for someone to get behind her, and her two short months of training in the Capitol taught her enough that she knows the basics of not getting backstabbed. But after a week, she starts getting complacent, and on this particular day, her sponsor-gifted knife in hand, she piles a bit more food than normal into the tote bag she's pilfered from Blaire's Accessories, thinking that her little Arendelle clan could use an extra meal or two to keep their strength up. Do you come for her? Tell her off for letting her guard down? Or maybe try to sneak some of her food when she's not looking?
two. the book store
Before long, Anna stumbles upon the bookstore. She's always been an avid reader; it tends to happen when you spend much of your childhood alone with a big huge library at your disposal. So she spends a good day and a half squirreled away in a corner of the bookstore, hidden behind a massive bookshelf with a pile of books at her feet, a slice of cold pizza for a snack, and her knife nearby just in case.
Really, the minute she found out the books were about the Tributes' lives, her fate had been sealed for her. She devours them one by one: Dave, Mariko, Tony, even Mindy and Donatello--but it's not until she gets to hers, and Elsa's, that she realizes that they're not exactly accurate. After that, it's basically uncontrollable giggles from her corner as she pours over the pages, filing away tidbits with which to tease her friends later on.
three. the arendelle boutique
It's almost too much excitement to handle when, one day, Anna ventures to the third floor and discovers an entire store devoted to Arendelle-themed merchandise. There are stuffed Svens and Olafs, dresses and skirts patterned after hers and Elsa's, and--much to her disdain--a small section devoted to Hans. She steers clear of that bit, but takes her time looking around, inspecting miniature versions of her castle home inside snowglobes, flipping through children's books based on her escapades, and letting her fingers drift over ragdolls that bear a striking resemblance to the ones she played with as a little girl. She's so entranced in her own nostalgia and homesickness, she doesn't notice that she's not quite alone.

Since then, he'd run off and had two scrapes with people. The bruises across his face are evidence of this, along with the bite on his hand. Despite looking like hell, he's pretty happy. Things have gone better since he found Loki and he feels much less tense, so much so that he's barely even defensive when he rounds a shelf to find Anna sitting there. Some relief swells in him along with guilt for not finding her or Elsa sooner, then the absolute dread when he sees what she's reading.
Despite that, he can't hide a small, goofy smile for her. He didn't think he'd miss her as much as he did, but seeing her in person for the first time in just shy of a month puts perspective on it.
"Well excuuuuse me, Princess." She won't get that reference, Dave.
Re: two
"Dave!" Before he can say anything else, she's throwing her arms around him and giving him a huge hug, face pressed into his shoulder. "Thank goodness you're okay." She pulls back, studying him at arm's length and zeroing in on the bruises on his face. "Wait, you are okay, aren't you?"
no subject
"Dave." He repeats, as if acting like she didn't know his name. His arms hang at his sides when she hugs him and he lets out a slight sound of discomfort because his face isn't the only bruised part of him. He doesn't get a chance to try hug back before she pulls away to look at him. "What are you implying?" He raises a hand to pet at his cheek curiously. "Oh my god, what's on my face? Is something on my face?" You know damn well, Dave.
no subject
Detaching herself from him fully, Anna moves to sit back down in her little nest, patting the spot next to her. "You know, funny you should find me here." She holds up his book, wiggling it. "I was just reading the most fascinating story."

She ducked in and looked around, and it didn't take her long to put down the bat and pick up a Sven plush and smile at it.
"Uwah! You're so cute."
She turns to call back the others but sees Anna instead and just stops moving suddenly worrying about if she can defend herself against this girl, even if this girl looked really nice.
no subject
"Isn't he? You should meet the real thing. He's enormous!"
no subject
"Really? How big? Is he your friend?"
She looks between the older girl then the plush animal and smiles up at her looking very interested in what she has to say.
no subject
"Of course he's my friend! His name is Sven, and he's my boyfriend's best friend. He hauls his ice sled!"

When she approached the bookstore, she was torn a moment, then figured it might be a good idea to pop in and see what she could salvage here. What she found instead was Anna, Elsa's sister, browsing through...what the hell?
"Are those about us?!"
no subject
"Mindy?" She sounds a tad incredulous. "I don't understand, I thought you were a Mentor--" There's a sinking feeling as she realizes what this must mean, that Mindy was involved in the same trouble as Dave, as so many others. Anna feels awkward, all of a sudden, and digs through her stack of book to find Mindy's. "Yeah, they are. Some of them are a bit...weird, though. Mine is hardly true at all." As in, it insinuates that she's sort of a harlot who goes from man to man without a thought.

"They change the rules whenever they want. Doesn't matter, I can hold my own. So. You had a chance to read mine. How's that one look?"
She reached over for the one on Anna and flipped through it. "Huh. That's a whole lot of bullshit. It's like they were going out of their way not to portray you anything like yourself."
Oh god, she could only imagine her own story then.
no subject
"It was...interesting. You're a real hero, huh?"

The store is a pleasant if slightly sad sight to find and as Anna whirls off to look over things Kristoff finds himself stalling over a familiar face, immortalised in cloth and stuffing. The little Sven plushy gets a soft, sad smile from him and he lets himself have a moment of weakness as he picks it up, looking it over. It's pretty spot on, despite the size, and like Anna is prone to Kristoff finds himself caught up in studying the toy.

"Hey," she calls out lightly, coming toward him. "He's cute, isn't he? In stuffed-animal form. Way less slobbery." She nudges Kristoff in the ribs. "You must miss him an awful lot."
no subject
But it's better that he's not here, really.
He starts a little when Anna calls out, cheeks flushing as he realises he's been caught out and there's little he can do about that. So he just shifts, calling back a soft. "Hey." He can't help the frown either at what Anna says, Kristoff used to defending his almost brother. "That just means he likes you. He's affectionate." Unlike Kristoff and he looks down at the toy, his sadness obvious even as he tries to brush it aside. "It'S... It's better that he's not here."
no subject
"I know." Gently, she slides her arms around Kristoff's middle, hugging him from the side and pressing her cheek against his shoulder. "Don't worry. You'll see him again, someday. This can't last forever."

He took to crawling, trying to remain hidden for as long as possible. When the girl was looking the other way he grabbed a handful out of her bag.

But when she felt something tugging at her shoulder, through the tote's strap? Well, she couldn't quite ignore it any longer, and she whirled to see a man on the ground, holding something he'd obviously pilfered from her.
"Excuse me! That's mine." Her face clouds over, and one hand moves for her pocket, where her knife is waiting. Just in case.

He contemplated running away, but he didn't know if she had someone on the look out and he wouldn't be able to tell if she shouted to them.
He went for backing away a couple of steps, while keeping his gaze on her face, to see what she was going to do next.

He can't help but wander off to the comics section, and when he does? He notices one with a drawing of him on the cover, which prompts him to take it immediately- intending to flip through it in a safer, less open area. What exactly is this? First dolls, now books?
The sound of giggles startles him though, and he'll peer from around the bookshelf he was at to see a girl sitting there as she read. For a moment he nearly ducks back behind the shelf, about ready to find another nook to hide in... but it was probably best to see who he was supposedly 'up against'.
Not that this Arena involved much violence or fighting so far.
"Might I ask what you're reading?"
no subject
She sizes up the newcomer warily. He doesn't look like a threat.
"Just, um. Reading about my sister, actually." She nudges at the book with her toe.
no subject
"Apologies for disturbing you. I suppose-- you just seemed to be enjoying yourself." With a slight incredulous tone.
It was kind of silly to happen upon her, wasn't it? He won't come closer, just offering a nod.

But she waits, huddled, cuddled beneath a giant Olaf teddy, until she sees Anna.
She knew she'd come.
Eponine shoots out a hand as Anna wanders past, and hisses, "Miss!" from her hiding place. Next hope is that Elsa hasn't told her what happened. But if she has... well, Eponine still has her skates and she is not afraid to use them.
no subject
So she only straightens, and offers the other girl a tiny smile, eyes still wary.
"Hey...what are you doing here?"
no subject
How stupid. It hadn't occurred to Eponine that Elsa would have both found and told Anna by now, or that Anna would believe her.
"It's warm..." She trails off. She doesn't know what to say now. She bites the bullet.
"You know, don't you, Miss?"
