What| R deteriorates over the Arena and makes the mistake of trying to attack Ellie. She puts a stop to it. Permanently.

Warnings/Notes| Zombie stuff, possible gore, zombie killing.

Zombies don't do well in heat - toss in humidity on top of the hunger and R's such a mess that even the few fans he has watching him are hoping he gets taken out, fast.

The gore from Eponine is still caked onto his chin in chunks here and there, one side of his face sagging under the humidity. The hunger and the droning sound vibrating across his corpse. He can't think. He can't even manage a simple, kindergarten sentence. Most days he tries to pick a dark corner, ignore the walls peeling down, and try to take his mind off the hunger. Eventually he even forgets the droning. The fog comes back. Today he lurches around from house to house, sniffing every now and then, drooling a little bit all over his sweater.

He comes across Ellie in a small alley between houses. It's dark. He stares at her, sniffs once, and then lurches and sways toward her. It's just foggy enough that it's difficult to see how bad he looks.

What: Eponine has gone exploring in one of the houses in town. R is eventually going to eat her. Before that, she's hunting for food and weapons.

Where: In the living room of a house in town.

When: Week 2, at night.

Warnings: R is going to eat her, so warnings galore for that. Otherwise, I suppose, bad language, and any you should like to add yourself.

The Tributes are taken early in the morning, most of their support teams seeming in good cheer as they dress them in warm clothes, getting them to their tubes. There is obvious comfort in the familiar for the prep teams, and they chatter with, or in some cases, over the heads of their Tributes as they get them ready and load them up.

If the Tributes could see the area they are passed up into, they would see a deeply overgrown, dilapidated town green, with a large bandstand rotting away in the middle. The spoils of the cornucopia are not gathered in one spot, instead scattered throughout the thigh high grass and weeds around the town green.

Around the edge of the green, the old business stand a silent sentry, looming out of the fog as it thins and winds into them, providing much desired cover.

But the Tributes cannot see the ground around them. The fog, thicker even than it will be in the rest of the arena, makes the world small around them. The sound of the count down echoes strangely, the tributes seeming too close as the fog brings sounds of their breath, their coughing, the snap of twigs under their feet right to ears of the other Tributes. But with the fog bringing visibility down to only a few feet, it's hard to tell what is a true danger, and what is only the fog playing tricks on them,.

The gong rings out, and the countdown's voice announces "the Arena is now open". The Games have begun.

What: Eponine begs R to turn her into a zombie

Warnings: Talk of death, zombie transformations, biting... blood? Maybe? I dunno. It's not nice, anyway, so proceed cautiously.

What| R gets a good, healthy liquid nitrogen dousing by fire sprinkler during the volcano eruptions. He gets caught in that limbo where he’s too injured to go on but he’s taking forever dying. Howard does a friend a favor.

Warnings/Notes| Guy's not the type to wantonly kill but he'll try to spear someone's face in if they go after him and is very aggressive when provoked.
