it's poetry in motion tbh
Who| Bruce (or, later, the Hulk) and open!
What| Trying and ultimately failing to stay alive
Where| First around the surface, then later on in a crevasse!
When| All through the second week!
Warnings| Is the Hulk a warning? There might also be some thoughts on past suicide attempts.
Notes | Earlier in the week, he'll be Bruce; after slipping into a crevasse with De and co, he'll be the Hulk for the majority of the remaining time! Tell me which you'd like to see in your tag, or make it obvious by the setting (if you're in a crevasse, you almost definitely get the Hulk).
Those up on the surface will see a not particularly threatening sight; Dr. Bruce Banner, grabbing his coat closer to him and trying not to stumble around in the snow. He keeps moving only because being killed means putting on a show, so he'll only stumble around to an area where it looks like no one's around before sitting down to pile up some snow as a windbreak and try to figure out how to get out of this.
The one time he could really use the other guy, of course, is when he's already gone; maybe this time he'll actually die when he climbs up into the Arctic and throws himself into a miserable hole. At least it'd give him a sense of closure.
Those down in the crevasse, if they happen to be around at the right moment, will hear a heavy thud, and maybe feel the ground shake. From that point on, they might catch a glimpse of an enormous green monster shambling around in the small space; maybe he's trying to climb back up, or maybe he seems to be looking for something. Maybe he's got a little less self-control than all that, though-- maybe he's just smashing shit.

But as he fell forward, the push that had been missing from the back of his mind this entire time suddenly shoved forward, full blast, as his heart pounded with adrenaline from the fall. He struggled to keep it down, but it had caught him completely unaware-- and why wouldn't it? It was supposed to be gone, they had managed to get rid of it-- and that was the last thing he could remember thinking as the other guy exploded forward.
He landed with a heavy thud, hunched over and working through the last few spasms, the high-tech insulated clothing in shreds around him. He didn't remember anything about what was going on, just that he had hit the ground and was out for a reason, so he hauled himself to his feet and let out a roar into the sky.
[SOBBING]

Very wrong.
"Holy fucking shit."
Scrambling to her feet and away, she moved as quick as she could. Because 'ha ha you must get a lot of Bruce Banner jokes' was now not really funny at all.

He roared again, this time at her, coiled up in what would be called a defensive pose if he wasn't so offensive, ready to fight.

She lowered her harpoon, ready to thrust, slowly making her way backwards. But if this was here verses him she was fucked beyond reason.
Glancing behind her, quickly, she saw her one and only chance. The crevasse behind her got very narrow. Large enough for a small woman, not so much for the Hulk. If she could make it back there, get in deep enough before he reached her...he could probably break it open eventually, but maybe it would give her enough time to get the hell out of there.
Oh man, fighting the Hulk was not in her job description.
"Good Hulk...nice Hulk..." She said softly, voice shaking softly.

He didn't notice the way the crevasse narrowed up ahead of him-- or if he did, it didn't make a difference to him as he advanced, not yet lunging but looking at this girl calling him by name with a harpoon like he's thinking about it.

So live on the wild side.

Because really, the Hulk was behind her.
And he was close, still to close, but he couldn't get through as fast as her, and she just kept going.
