to see if i still bleed

Who| Bruce Banner, Sam Wilson, and OPEN
What| Make-shift infirmary for Avengers, allies, or anyone else who stumbles across them
Where| One of the science labs
When| Week 1, all throughout the arena
Warnings/Notes| Injuries and such within, will update with others as needed. If you'd like a thread with Bruce or Sam or both, feel free to specify!

It didn't take long for the idea of rigging up some kind of makeshift infirmary to get brought up. With everyone's powers back, there's a high likelihood of this getting messy, really fast. Especially after Steve already getting injured that bad at the Cornucopia.

Thanks to Sif, they actually have a medical kit, and the sterile white room of the laboratory they've set up in is far from the worst surroundings that either of them have given medical attention in.

Both of them aren't always there, but chances are at least one of them will be, to help out with any injuries their allies might sustain. Or anyone else who gets through whatever puzzles lead up to the laboratories, and however many of those allies might be hanging around.

Jet was hesitant. He hadn't actually thought about asking someone else to help who wasn't Albert, but while his partner knew his schematics from Jet busting himself up a few times too many, Jet knew he wasn't a technician or a mechanic or anything of the like. Each of them was a lot better at knowing their own parts than each others.

But he didn't know if he trusted Bruce -well, no, he knew he didn't trust Bruce to start poking around his systems, nothing personal, but he was a little gun-shy about scientists he didn't know.

But Sam knew him and Albert knew him and they seemed to trust him well enough. And what was the worst that could happen? He doubted Bruce would go in to re-wire Jet's brain and turn him into a weapon, that was Klein and Capitol-levels of BS, plus he doubted Sam would let him. Beyond that, the worst that could happen was Jet dying which was going to happen anyway if he didn't get himself patched up.

Jet shrugged. "If you're willing to give it a try, I'm not really in a place to say no. Where do you want me?"

While he waited for an answer, he slipped out of the upper half of the suit they'd been stuck in and tied it at his waist to keep the lower half in place. From his head to his neck, he looked like a normal person, but just below his collar bone, the creases started. All across his torso from his shoulders to his waist, was a network of lines in his skin, the edges of panels that fit together like puzzle pieces but clearly outlined how cybernetic he looked. One of the panels over his stomach had a large gash in it, the jagged edges of torn synthskin still tinged with the red and white fluids that had leaked out initially. Those tubes were tied up now, but that was part of the problem, too long like that and his systems would freeze up and fail. This was a better option.

Bruce furrowed his brow, looking at the damage done to Jet's panels with a critical eye and crossing his arms over his chest. He didn't answer immediately, too busy getting a sense of how bad the damage was.

"Why don't you lie down on that table? It has a lot of light I can work with," he said, gesturing to the table absently before glancing at Sam. "I'm going to need a lot of stuff for this. Do you mind helping me grab some after I get a closer look at what we're dealing with?"

Honestly, even if Sam just stood there and watched, Jet would feel better. The fact he was helping at all was just bonus. And at least Bruce didn't seem as completely nuts as every other scientist Jet knew...except Kouzumi, Bruce seemed more like a Gilmore-level crazy (at least on sight with that slightly frazzled and stressed air about him) and that was all right.

He moved over to the table and laid out on it, shifting a little to get as comfortable as he could on something flat and hard. "Unless you've got a good reason for me not to be, I think I'd like to stay conscious during whatever fix you can give me." He glanced over at Sam from where he was and smirked. "Don't suppose you got a pillow or something in your stash."

"It'd be helpful for you to be awake, but are you sure you'd be okay with that? You don't have any feeling in your stomach that would make that, uh... unpleasant?" Bruce considered himself to have a high pain tolerance, but even he would be quite uncomfortable if someone rummaged in his stomach while he was awake. Then again, his stomach wasn't made of metal and tubing.

Out of consideration, he didn't immediately touch all the machinery. He just looked it over in the better light before very gently pushing things this way and that, not actually doing any work just yet. He was just getting a good look at the damage and making a mental list of what he had to do and the materials he'd need to do it.
