I'm not here for your entertainment, you don't wanna mess with me tonight.
Who: Harley, Detta and victims
What: Girls gone wild, Harley has set free Susannah's wild, violent and offensive side and they are mugging and murdering their way through.
Where: The Maze, wherever, whenever. There is no escape. There is no where to hide. They will find you.
When: After the Arena began but before it ends.
Notes: Detta is...offensive in almost every sense of the word. Also violence.
Harley was a doormat.
Most the people in The Capitol might not have realized it, but her best friend Ivy had once said if she had a middle name? It would be "Welcome."
Harley had self diagnosed herself long ago as having an extreme need for acceptance and affection. She drank up praise like sweet nectar and wrapped herself up in compliments like a fuzzy warm blanket on a cold wet Monday morning. So it made sense that she wanted so badly for the citizens of the Capitol, and of District Nine to like her.
That's why she tried so hard to win over even the least affectionate of mentors Eva.
And that's why she had to win this arena. Sure the circumstances were a little different then the usual arenas, but she'd seen first hand that it was no less dangerous. Elsa's blood was still dried into her boots.
Glancing over her shoulder to confirm Detta wasn't about to run her through with a spear Harley flashed a delighted grin. Despite the dark situation she still had found a way to have some fun. Susannah probably wouldn't be speaking to her anytime soon...but at least Detta seemed to like her for the time being.
Now they just needed to find some victims to keep Detta, and the bloodthirsty masses at home happy.

Going back hardly seemed an option, so Kain continued along. There had to be another path to take further up. In the meantime... he figured there were worse hazards out there. He could deal with this.

Taking a deep breath and letting it out Harley began to slither and slink her way around the vines and thorns as best she could.
"With my luck these things are poisoned and one little scratch is all I'll need to disappoint my adoring fans." She muttered, thankful for her flexibility.
All the green and the talk of poison of course set her mind to Ivy, as her mind had been going back to Ivy more and more.
"Hey Red...if you're out there I could really use some of your floral friendship." She sighed and had to arch her back to avoid another particularly insistent vine.
"I meant what I said back in the garden. And if you're still a part of this world, or maybe if these plants can get you the message through time and space. Just know that I'm never gonna forgive myself for what I did to ya."
A figure was lurking just ahead. She moved faster imagining it to be her long lost friend.
"I'm gonna win this Ivy, and eventually I'm gonna get back to you and set things right. I don't care if it takes me all of my life, or if I gotta burn down the world to get there."

She gooses Harley in hopes that will distract her companion enough that Harley gets stuck by one of the thorns. That was her idea of entertainment.

There's no way to know whether or not it's someone he can trust. In the arena, he tends to assume not. It's also too late to avoid being seen... so he hefts his spear in hand and prepares for a potential confrontation. This arena has its differences, though, and he's not going to hold back this time. If anything, he'd be doing someone a favor by giving them a swift end. "So be it..." he mumbles to himself.

"No fire." She answered apologetically as she rubbed the blood from her cheek. "And besides, I like plants. They remind me of someone. And she's green so don't get your black panther panties in a bunch. I'm sure we'll find some other cracker for you to play with."
She had been mostly cheerful and playful with Detta but the vines and thorns had put her in a nostalgic place full of conflicted feelings she had to sort through.
Coming around the corner she lay her eyes on their next potential victim. "Hey look out behind you!" She screamed dramatically pointing just over his shoulder and up a bit putting on a face of horror and shock.
Would he fall for it?

Already in a defensive stance from the start, Kain readies himself to face what they might be throwing his way.

She hadn't managed to kill anyone yet, but that would come hopefully, she had to prove she was worth keeping, so they wouldn't kill her off forever.
She kept her eyes out for danger or targets and walked as quietly as she manage.

"Ya know it's really not that hard. The trick is to make it entertaining."
Harley Quinn was coming round the corner juggling three shiny red apples. She only needed the one but there had been a few left and she didn't want the other tributes to get their hands on them.
Whoever she was talking to wasn't far behind but she was more focused on juggling the apples and moving forward then she was watching her back. Unfortunately Pruna was in front of her not behind where it would be easy to catch her off guard.

She's looking ahead, however. And she definitely sees Pruna. "Wouldja lookit dat," she says almost conversationally. "Itsa liddle bitch-baby. Lets take her lunch money."

"You will no be taking anything from me."

Harley took a relaxed stance, at least the knife didn't have much reach on it, but she could always throw it. Had to be wary of that.
"Some on kid, it'll save us all alot of time if you just hand over your loot. There's two of us and one of you. And my associate here is just begging to stab someone."

Tossing the tokens onto the floor of the pavilion, he readied his spear. He'd seen enough fights to know that, while killing was not required in this "mini arena," it was far from discouraged.
no subject
"Well hello there. Don't suppose you'd be willing to put down your spear and back away?" She teased.
no subject
"No, I won't." He said both calmly and firmly. "I came to claim my token. I have no quarrel with you. I will take it and be on my way." Yet he made no move to grab them yet.

And Detta Walker swing her spear hard against the back of his knee.

He tried to scramble away, but as soon as he accidentally twisted his leg he felt the pain spike through it and he knew it was hopeless.
cw: torture, slurs
She laughs, a nasty, dark sound, a witch's cackle, and plunges her spear down into the honky mahfah's other leg, effectively crippling him. It was too bad she didn't have any bricks to drop on his head.
"Sorry, greymeat," she crows, "but you ain't goan catch up with yore new butt-buddy now."

He's done. He's dead. There's nothing left for him, but something in him wants to struggle anyway - defiant to the last.
So he spits at her.

She proceeds to demonstrate that by yanking her spear out of his leg and thrusting it down hard into his shoulder, then twisting.
She smiles grotesquely down at him. "I got all de time I need," she says. "Keep it less'n an hour an' I'll still have more time den if I walked away now."
She yanks the spear out again before plunging it into his other shoulder.
