On Thursday, the Daily Grind internet cafe will open for business for the first time since the start of the Arena. The twelve computers inside are all turned on and connect directly to the network. Any Tribute who ventures into the cafe will find that they can read recent network posts as well as Panem Nightly's most recent newscast. More excitingly, they can comment to the posts, however all responses must be made using text only. The cafe is only open on Thursday and will close promptly at 9pm. The computers will electrocute those who attempt to tamper with them, so please, don't try anything stupid.

The cafe itself is about thirty degrees warmer than the rest of the mall and will become unbearably hot after about fifteen minutes, so keep your core temperature in mind. No refreshments are permitted inside the cafe, despite the fact that it is a cafe.

In the dead of night the sirens start their wailing again, the fog fades away, and the world starts to heat up.

But before anyone can even find the safe house, there's is a brilliant flash of electricity. Those looking in the right direction can see a figure hitting the shield, and then the electricity flares out in a dome across the sky.

And then everything goes dark, followed by a large crash as Starkiller hits the ground in the middle of town.

The hellarena ends abruptly, as do the powers anyone gained for those precious few moments. The whole arena becomes pitch black, quiet, and the mutts wander around a bit dazed, neither sluggish or aggressive. The night is warm, pleasant.

Luckily for the Gamemakers this arena is enclosed by physical boundaries on all sides. Because it's just over two hours before they get the power running again, and the mist creeps back in.

It is early morning, when all the animals suddenly go silent. The day before, those paying close attention might have noticed some restless behavior, but who wouldn't be restless trapped in the arena.

The eerie silence only last a moment of two before suddenly there is a deep growl, an awful sound of rupturing, and then the whole world is shaking.

Part of the old building, the part closest to the ocean, sways precariously, holding on for one moment, before it, and a large section of the cliffs crashed into the ocean.

They send a wave surging out, away from the land. However, when it hits the invisible edge of the arena, although a large amount of the force presses right through, there is still enough caught with in the force field to bounce back, sending a sizable wave that manged to crest over the top of the cliffs, washing away anything too close to shore.

The force field manages to hold, clearly better built than what would normally surround an arena.

When everything settles, half of the building now sits in the ocean. One the west side, many of the halls and rooms are now open to the air. The path to the ocean is gone, and several older, weaker trees have collapsed to the ground as well.

In the Capitol, the electricity stutters, before going out. It is restored quickly in many places, but some are without electricity for up to 45 minutes.
