Still alive and getting weary...
Who| Cindy and YOU (also Cindy and Asha / Cindy and Peggy)
What| Getting into trouble, helping people out, getting into pacts, killing Doki.
Where| Arena 1 (Candyland). Around the Toffee Tumble Falls, and the Cornucopia.
When| During Week Six
Warnings/Notes| Violence, blood, standard arena warnings. Action/Prose welcome!
She'd been in the arena for six weeks. Six glorious weeks of non-stop sugar, singing, and the world just going mad. There were several times that Cindy almost decided to get out of this arena herself, but she figured that she wasn't that desperate. She could outlast everyone else. She could. But she didn't want to. There were others she'd like to see win this one.
But that didn't mean she was looking for a way out. No, definitely not. She'd lost too many people so far. Harley, dying in her arms. Poor Shion, the kid she'd told that she would protect, dead within that first fifteen minutes or so. Topher had died after she'd partnered with him, and she was still upset about that. Poor Brains. And Holiday. Cindy had nothing to do with the actual killing, but they still shouldn't have happened. If she'd been around when she needed to be.
Cindy had been close to tears, but no more. Now, right now, she was stationed by the falls. It hampered her from hearing if someone was close by, but it also hampered the singing. So she'd made her choice, as she rested there for a little while.

Cindy and Asha - can do prose if you'd like!
Packing up her gear, she headed out, always keeping the river to her right. Just in case she needed to make some kind of quick escape. Swimming in chocolate didn't sound too appealing, though.]

[She had taken to singing her own songs instead, to make it more manageable, and if it should happen to intimidate someone, all the better. Even if it drew others to her, the sooner they battled, the sooner she'd be out of here, whether she won or lost. She was halfway through The Bloody Cup when she spotted someone; she leaned against the tree casually, playing with her knife between her fingers.]
...and hold the cup no more. [she finished softly, taking the girl in with a glance. Gear, and one who stayed alive long enough to still hold onto it.] Well met.

This was why, whenever another tribute was nearby, it was a little bit more easy to spot them. It depended on what they were wearing, but you could tell the difference between a tribute and a tree. So when Cindy saw her leaning against a tree? She'd already had her sword out for some time, but now she had a reason for it.]
Having fun? [Calls out.] Not really my thing, with all this sugar.

Sugar, is it? [She asks, and the surprise is real—sugar doesn’t come in colors, melted into so many shapes, and the idea of this much sugar existing is laughable, even for a king (or queen, now, as she was).] They’ve a strange idea of what makes a proper battlefield. Sugar, really...

[That part gets some confusion at the surprise. How could you not know this was mostly sugar?]
Must be more for the entertainment factor. Like shoving two girls in bikinis into the mud. Someone out there loves to watch that from their cushy chair.
god sorry for the wait!
Still, we're to be fighting for their entertainment, and here we are, two girls yet.
[And entertainment meant prizes, and that could mean food-- or better weapons.]
It's okay! <3
She'd have to learn more about them when she wasn't getting ready to defend herself.]
Guess we should do what they want to see then, huh? [She smirked.] I mean, we could go our separate ways, if you want. I'm not opposed to that.

[There it goes. The word is strange to her, and sounds like it might be in a foreign language; she definitely says it like it would be. Still, she smiled back, flipping her dagger in her hand in a casual yet obvious intimidation factor.]
no subject
Because obviously she wasn't going to die. Her rapier was out, put in an attack position.]
I think they will. [She grinned.] Let me rephrase that. They better be.
[Screw this now. She ran forward, moving fast for someone who might not seem like it, weighted down with a few things. Aimed right for her gut.]
no subject
[She too moved faster than she should have with the bulky mail, stepping into it rather than avoiding it and trying to shove her off balance.]
no subject
The bag had to be put down. This girl was moving fast with what she was wearing, but Cindy was more vulnerable with the bag on then off. And she knew she could keep up if the girl made a move for it. Cindy slid it fluidly off her shoulders, coming back in with a swipe at her legs this time.]

When she got in view of the horn this time, she thought she could hear a sound there that had nothing to do with the singing. In fact, maybe someone was getting rid of the singing things? That she wouldn't mind getting a part of.]
