A meeting
Who | Ian and Ian
What| A meeting and shenanigans
Where | Desert arena.
When | Week 4
Warnings/Notes | None yet
Now that Ian was covered head to foot in a black robe he was finding things a little easier, it was still unbearably hot during the day but at least his skin wasn't blistering. At least not any more than it already had. His feet were a mess, blistered and burnt from the hot sand and he swore as he walked.
He was looking for food, Marius should be alright looking for water, though Ian worried about the guy every time they split up.
He realised that in a place where the aim was to be the last one standing worrying about others was a bit stupid, but he wasn't going to abandon his humanity just because he was a captive.
He paused to take a mouthful of water, they had plenty even if it was important to find more, if they were to last long.

It had been a while since he last received any sponsor gifts and although he'd reached the point of not being hungry any more, he was still thirsty and not willing to risk drinking the water here.
He looked around, saw no one who was likely to attack - probably - then looked up at the sky. "Some water would be nice. Please."
no subject
"I guess asking the sky sometimes does work." He grinned, holding his hands up in a non threatening gesture.

He held out the bottle to pass it back when he noticed the label on it. Then he took a closer look. "I think this was supposed to be for me." It had his first name on it, after all.

His smile faded though and turned into a glare, "You calling me a thief?"

"I tend to assume that things belong to me when they have my fucking name on them."

The bottle just had those three letters on, no surname. And perhaps Ian should have checked before he suggested it was for him, but he didn't think that justified the other Ian swearing like that.
no subject
"And maybe you should have considered that you're not the only person called Ian in the world before assuming I was a thief."
no subject
He knew he should give the water back, but he really needed some and wasn't quite ready to relinquish it just yet.
no subject
He had plenty anyways. "Just check your facts before accusing people."
