Who| Anyone who replied here
What| A supply cache
Where| The Tarzan/Swiss Family Robinson Tree house
When| Early morning
Warnings/Notes| The winning rolls are under the cut. Also, an OOC note: Deathrolls will be a day late this week.

The house hasn't stood the test of time well.

All the rope bridges are gone, and the stairs aren't doing well either, sagging and rotted wood. The platforms are in a bit better shape, though some stagger under the weight of their fake props and the remains of figures that once decorated the attraction.

Although anything truly useful had been taken sometime before this arena by other hands looking to survive, enough useless props still clung to make the nature of the location obvious. And even without the bridges and stairs, the solid tree had plenty of grips to scramble up.

The 6 bags were spread throughout the platform, made of aged looking net and rope. Within could be found a butterfly knife, a flint to make fire, a length of rope, two cans of food, and drops to purify water. A valuable bag to grab.

Alas, Bruce doesn't make it, and Tim and Sandy sustain serious injury.

At this Sandy felt a wave of mixed feeling ranging from embarrassed, to ashamed, ending in disappointment.

"I guess you could say I was working on that when I suddenly wound up here" That was a lie. She'd been running from her problems like she always did.

"It's like you said before. I'm a coward."

"But you do be... at least eleven now." Pruna wrinkled her nose, that was six years. And she was still working on it?

"Yes you do be." She agreed whole heartedly.

Sandy frowned at how quickly the other girl agreed.

Don't know why I'm surprised.

"Yeah well, I'd like to see you take on the Reign by yourself. Fully armored, better weapons and all you have is my lame powers."
knifewithnoname: (oh really?)

[personal profile] knifewithnoname 2013-05-02 01:39 pm (UTC)(link)
She wrinkled her nose. "I bet I could be being, if I did be having enough information."
justoutrunyou: (you're locked in here with me)

Now that intrigued her, "Like what? How many there are? Too many to count. Where they're located? All over town." She counted off on her fingers. "I knew their patrol routes, but alot of them would wander around whenever they got bored just looking for people to oppress."
knifewithnoname: (much thinking)

"Who do the boss be being? Who do their highest ranking people be being, what do be being their movements. You can be killing a hundred people at the bottom and there will just be being more. But if you can be killing someone at the top, or the boss, then people will be panicking."

She shrugged, "But it would be being a lot of effort, it did probably be being best you did be leaving him."

She's not trying to be mean this time, she means it seriously. She doesn't understand why someone would go to all the effort it would take to take down an entire order to rescue one person.

"I do be guessing though you did be in his debt, because he did be saving you."

There was something Sandy hadn't thought about before.

Her mind plagued with memories of his big strong arms keeping her safe. His warm gravely voice, craggy features.

"Yeah...yeah I owe him. More then I could ever pay." She sighed. "Not that I can do anything about that around here."

The weight of her heavy heart seemed almost to have a real physical effect. The tree groaned and a breeze past through, almost enough to hide the faintest sound of a crack in her branch. The weight shifted just slightly but she barely noticed.

The girl shrugged, she guessed she couldn't. Since they were in a different world now.

She turned to begin climbing again, "Yes, it do no be mattering now." Since they would likely die soon anyways.
justoutrunyou: (Ow!)

"Every time we talk is just so cheerful." Sandy muttered half joking as she stood up again.

Another crack. This time the shift in weight was much sharper.

Sandy's eyes went wide and she clung to the tree trunk digging her fingers into the fake bark.

"Great..." She groaned looking at the deep crack that had been forming in the base of the branch.
knifewithnoname: (oh really?)

[personal profile] knifewithnoname 2013-05-03 06:31 am (UTC)(link)
Pruna had already began climbing but at the crack she turned round. "You should be getting off that branch." Was all that she had to say.
justoutrunyou: (Ow!)

[personal profile] justoutrunyou 2013-05-03 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Sandy made a grumbling sound and tried to respond but with another sharp "CRACK" the branch tumbled leaving her clinging to the side of the tree and slipping.

"Nonononono!" She cried in protest against gravity itself.

But she fell.

It felt like the blink of an eye and the world went black.

For those watching she fell, screaming and flailing her arms and landed hard on the unforgiving stone ground, her head hitting with a satisfying "THAWHACK!" And her eyes rolling back on contact.

A puddle of dark red began to form around her head, but there was no canon shots. No declaration of death yet.

Only luck had saved her...but a slow death might still be coming.
knifewithnoname: (thoughtful)

Sob I am so sorry for her, I will be forever be apologising

The crack made Pruna jump and her eyes widened as Sandy fell. She had tried to warn her, she shook her head. Really she should have been a better climber, and more careful, then maybe she wouldn't have fallen.

If she was still alive by the time Pruna got down she would kill her, it would be better than all the pain and she wasn't as bad as Pruna had first thought. But she had stuff to do first.
justoutrunyou: (goodnight sweet princess)

No worries. She's perfectly stubborn and set in her ways. It's fun!

[personal profile] justoutrunyou 2013-05-03 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)
But by the time Pruna got back she would be gone, having wandered away leaving droplets of blood in an unsteady wavy trail.

Maybe they would meet again in the arena. Or maybe she would die alone and Pruna would never know what happened to her.

Only time would tell.
