Who: Blaine and Copycat
What: Blaine's death.
Where: Near the small cave that Sebastian took Blaine to on his first day.
When: Before the glacier break.
Warnings/Notes: Character death
Blaine was starving and weak. He needed to get up and do something about it. After Sebastian's death he had mostly been hiding in the little cave, trying to pretend this wasn't happening. The idea that he was just wasting away made him feel so useless.
That's how he found himself packing up all of the supplies that Sebastian left and slinging them over his back before he slipped on his glare resistant goggles. He'd have to brave the outside, he told himself.
No matter how dangerous.

How has she survived so long in this cold arena? Simple. She stays in the crevasses, in the form of the mutant who killed her: Sabretooth. His regenerative healing factor and immunity to the cold of the arena keep her very comfortable while she's down there.
Why is she top-side now? Well, for one thing she can't get any food down there, and it's not like everyone is itching to kill each other off in the place. It's a matter of survival. To live, she needs to kill until she's the last woman standing. The last thing she wants is to go back to being dead. She was just brought back, after all. It'd be a shame to waste the second chance waiting around for someone like Deadpool to come save her. That didn't exactly work out too well for her the last time.
As she's walking along, searching for food, she spots Blaine nearby and approaches, watching him move. Poor thing must be miserable.
"Not used to the cold?"

"No, I'm afraid not," he said, his voice rough.

She approaches slowly, hands up as she feigns innocence. She's a chameleon, looking harmless is easy.

"I'm managing," he says carefully. He doesn't want to appear as weak as he feels, but his face and the way he stands gives him away.

"We could band together, y'know? Shared warmth and all that..."

And then she snapped his neck.
