[OPEN] i'm on the hunt, i'm after you
Who| Anna and you!
What| Week 2 catch-all!
Where| All over the Arena--the castle banquet, the village, the forest, etc.
When| week 2 of the arena.
Warnings/Notes| violence, most likely! Anna will be actively seeking out weakened/unsuspecting Tributes and making more of an attempt to do the whole murder game thing. Hit me up if you'd like a prompt!
It had all started with the parachute. Take the hint, Princess, with initials she didn't recognize, accompanied by a knife and a pair of earplugs. Anna isn't sure who these people are, but she can assume that they're Mentors, which means someone is watching. And wanting her to do things a little differently. And considering her past track record...maybe it's time for her to follow along.
It isn't that Anna wants to kill people, or anything like that. That isn't who she is. But she also knows that after a year, after seven Arenas both big and small, after seven painful and often bloody deaths, she's ready for something to change. And maybe that something needs to be her. So she takes the knife from the parachute and tucks it into her boot, along with the earplugs which go in her right pocket. She isn't exactly sure what they're for, but no doubt they'll come in handy sooner or later.
Okay. They want her to take the hint, she can take the hint. She can play their murder game.

"So if you win, what kinda food do you want at your feast? Chocolate probably right?"
Ruffnut was a simple creature and as such she had imagined her feast many times.
"I'd want my feast to be like the biggest Snoggletog party ever! With all the meats. Every kind of meat the Capitol can find I wanna try it! And those really sour candies I like from the candy shop. They're like these colorful balls you suck on and they make your face go..." She sucked in her cheeks and puckered her lips in an attempt to make her face look as though she had been sucking on one of the candies. It might be funny if not for the burns peeking out from under the bandages she's hastily wrapped around her head.
Actually it still looked pretty silly.

The princess giggles at Ruffnut's impression. "Ooh, yeah, I know the ones you're talking about! They're so good, though!"

"I dunno what Lefse or Stroganoff is, but all the rest of that stuff sounds great." She sighed and took her time chewing her next bite of rations hoping to make it last longer. She'd heard somewhere the more you chewed something the more it filled you up. She wasn't sure that made sense.
"Be glad one of my friends isn't here anymore, she made this horrible drink called yaknog. I bet they'd use it for her crowning. They already made cans of it in that mall place."

The princess wrinkled her nose. "Yak...nog? Sounds kind of awful."

She says this with a look of admiration. If Anna never had the chance to meet Astrid when she was in Panem the look on Ruffnut's face should indicate she thinks her friend is awesome even if she is a terrible drink maker.
"Could probably kill a dragon if they had enough."

Not that she hasn't seen enough magic and crazy stuff to believe it, honestly.

In fact back in the Capitol it had become a part of the Hunger Games Drinking Game: Take a shot every time Ruffnut brags about Dragons.
"Totally real. Tons of them! Every shape and size you can imagine."
Using a stick on the ground she attempted to trace out her own dragon. It ended up looking a bit like a sausage with three long hairs coming out of it and four lines that might have been feet.
"We used to fight the dragons all the time just so we had enough to eat. They killed us, we killed them. Then one day the scrawniest dork in our village named Hiccup decided to try and train a dragon. He had knocked one of the rarest dragons ever out of the sky practically on accident so he made friends with it instead of killing it. Weird right?"
Well it seemed weird to her.
"Next thing you know everybody loves dragons. My brother and I ride a two headed dragon." She pointed to the drawing and drew circles on the end of two of the long hairs coming out of the sausage.
"Barf and Belch." she indicated pointing at the heads. Then she tapped a button on her ratty green dress, it had the image of a dragons head.
"The Hideous Zippleback."

"Wow," she gasps. "That's amazing! I can't believe you actually ride a dragon! Is it fun? I bet it's super fun!"

"And there's the feeling in your gut when you're so high in the air everyone looks like ants. And sometimes you fall and might die but usually someone catches you." The whole thing was starting to make her feel a little homesick really.

This is nice, this conversation. It's keeping her mind off things in the best possible way, and it's a great distraction from grim Arena happenings.
Seems like a good place to wrap. Anna can come visit her in her dragon related dreams if you'd like
She'll carry on in this fashion telling Anna stories about the first time any of them rode dragons, how they flew into battle against the great and terrifying Red Death to help Hiccup save his own dragon, and the rest of the tribe who had gone to fight it. Other stories as well such as the time she had helped to rescue a great sea dragon she'd named Scauldy by keeping it calm while the others freed it from some rocks that had broken it's wing.
More rations, more stories, what had started out as an attempted sneak attack turned into a surprisingly pleasant evening.
