Clint's first priority after disguising his tracks had been shelter, and he'd ended up digging himself a little cave in the snow to insulate him from the cold. He had no weapons and no cold weather gear, and try as he might, he couldn't work out a plan to find either. He sure as hell wasn't heading back to that horn thing he'd come out near, not when there was any chance someone else might be around it and there wasn't much for cover to let him sneak up on it.

If this was a survival game, he'd wait it out. Let them come find him here if they could.

He was subsisting on melting snow to keep hydrated, but there wasn't much for food in his little shelter, and eventually the gnawing in his stomach dictated his next move. He waited until night, trusting the moon would give him enough light to see by but not enough to make him quite so obvious to anybody else who might be in this hellhole still. As stealthily as he could manage (which was pretty damn stealthily) he sneaked out of his cave, heading toward the nearest section of trees. He'd seen birds around, and he figured if nothing else, he could find a nest and some eggs.
