Mini Arena 2

Tributes are woken early, and the hovercraft ride is a long one. Not the longest some have experienced, but they are clearly going far.

25 - 24 - 23

They land on the deck of the boat, and are ushered underneath, to the lower levels, quickly. Their stylists go from cabin to cabin, decking them out in over the top finery, before loading them into the pods installed into the corners of the rooms.

20 - 19 - 18 - 17 - 16

The platforms lift them up, and they are all ringed around a grand buffet table, loaded with a grand feast looking ready to sag down from the weight. Among the food are supplies, plenty of them, all for the taking.

11- 10 - 9 - 8

They've all been warned, don't step off your pedestal early. They have also been warned to put on a good show. That's all this is about, a good show. None of them have been told that there can be multiple winners this time around.

The sound of the gong plays crystal clear across the opening. The games have begun.

"I'm Charles," he answered. "Nice to meet you considering the circumstances." He started towards the stair case, peeking behind him and making sure that Zero was following him as he stopped at the bottom of them and then started to move up and away from the water as fast as possible. "No one wants to drown here."

Sigma smiles at him politely. "Indeed," he begins, following him obediently to higher ground. It is more than likely that he is being led into a trap, but at this point, Sigma will take what he can get. His expression darkens when he realizes he had walked straight past the stairwell... "Hm. If I had missed something so obvious, I must be in far worse a state than I had assumed. I wish I shared your composure," he admits sheepishly. He finds himself flattered when the other checks to see if he is still with him. It was a sign that he had met a good man, and Sigma wished that friendship was something that could exist in the Arena.

Charles knows better than to think anyone a friend in the arenas, even if they were one outside of it. Trust would be difficult to earn with him, especially after how in tune he was with the other people in the previous arena. Still, he was a good man, and wanted to make sure he didn't sacrifice his personal beliefs just because of a death match.

"It's hectic," Charles excused. It made sense to him as to why anyone would miss things here. It wasn't exactly an easy place to be.

He hurried up the steps, not looking back and trusting the other to be behind him as he moved.
