I'll bleed you dry now [Closed]
Who| Nasir and Felicity
What| Nasir is a mindless monster. Felicity is his friend. Naturally she needs to put him out of his misery before he ends up killing her.
Where| Near the Orchard
When| Week 6
Warnings/Notes| A lot of violence, body horror, a corpse, and someone who has totally lost it.
To say that Nasir had seen better days would be a horrible understatement.
Nasir's body had changed since the last time he had encountered Felicity. The bronze skin of before had peeled to reveal something pale, a disgustingly glistening white. Teeth with a sharp points were pushing out the ones he had and his gums itched and ached constantly. His hair, carefully managed even in the arena, had fallen out bit by bit until nothing but strands remained. He was nearly unrecognizable. Once you added onto that the wounds he'd sustained fighting Venus-- the broken arm and wounds that were still breaking open and bleeding as he moved, he was in a miserable, pathetic state.
He wanted to tear something apart but when the fight with Venus had ended he'd retreated to where Agron's corpse had been and stayed there, beside the rotting remains, trying to ignore the smell of dried blood and decaying flesh. He sat on the ground next to the body and waited for the pain to subside, knowing that it wouldn't. Knowing it wouldn't matter even if it did. Another hurt would still be there.
When he heard footsteps he looked up from Agron's discolored face and stood, clutching his crowbar tight enough that his knuckles cracked.

To say she was recovered from the skirmish would be a lie. Felicity was shaken. Her entire body shook from pain and from crying as she trudged through the Arena and the fog. Why couldn't this just end? Why wasn't it over? She'd been through so much, she was covered in bruises and bites and she'd been attacked by giant insects. How was it that she was even alive?
She saw no reason to dry her eyes ever again, no need to pretend she was untouchably strong. Her life was misery and she wished to grieve for it. The only motivation she had to cease her crying and pull herself together was the haunting silhouette she could barely see through the mist. Her heart skipped a beat when she made out the form of a man, then sank as she continued closer and made out that he bore a passing resemblance to Nasir. It actually wasn't until she spotted Agron's corpse that she fully recognized him.
Thank God she still had her knife. She had a rotten feeling that she might need it.
"Is that you?" She called out, still longing to trust him. "Nasir? Are you all right? You look unwell."

"Felicity." There was a part of him, hidden though it was, that knew what he was about to do was wrong. But he had crawled out of his skin-- not even as a figure of speech but quite literally. He wanted to hurt someone-- kill someone. And he wanted to do that to Felicity.
Nasir almost growled as he fixed his eyes on her. "You should go." As he spoke he slowly stepped closer, unable to stop himself even though he'd given the warning.

However, she quickly noted the dark and terrible look in his eyes. He looked like a predator, one of those horrible wraiths from the Realms. The Trackers who'd stalked her and Gemma and Ann across the forests and plains, the most dangerous creatures she'd encountered in her life. Nasir seemed to have a bit of that in him now, and it truly frightened Felicity.
"Stay back. Stay away from me. I'm leaving." She backed away from him, hoping that she could get her knife in hand before he noticed it. She did not mean to hurt him, only to provide for her own escape.

Nasir couldn't voice another warning. His internal struggle had been brief. He saw little cause to fight anymore now that Agron was dead, even if it was on behalf of a friend.
Silently, Nasir broke into a run and came at Felicity with his crowbar raised and hand reaching out to grasp her and bring her down.

As her voice echoed off the fog and enveloped them, she got a decent hold on her knife and held it just as Jet had taught her to. As he collided with her, held fast to the knife and let him take her down to the ground.

Before Nasir could grasp Felicity's hair, he felt a sharp stabbing pain shoot through his arm and had to recoil. But he still managed to hurl her down with the force of his body. He couldn't pin her completely but that-- and whatever he felt for her-- didn't stop him from slamming his crowbar down at her body.

Nasir tried to swing his crowbar again but the pain made him weak. He was gasping for air and fighting back a groan at once. That was fortunate for Felicity as if he'd fought at full strength, the crowbar would have broken her jaw. Instead he faltered just as the weapon was about to land.

Now that he was overcome with pain, now that he was dying, the weakness seemed to drain the anger from him.
"You--" He coughed. "Fought well."
The Arena was over. He had come close-- painfully close-- but in the end it hadn't been enough. He'd been struck down by a friend he never should have attacked.

"You fool! You're such a fool!" Fee's entire body shook as she broke down into sobbing. "I hope you're happy, you monsters! I told you--" She sniffled, wiping her eyes with blood stained hands. "I told you. I'm not just another little plaything. I'm a bloody goddess."
But instead of standing, gathering her strength and bolting into the fog, she curled up to Nasir's body, arm slung over his torso. And then she cried. She gave no thought to being spotted now. The sooner someone found her, the sooner it would all be done.
