Who| Holiday and everyone
What| Running around the arena, trying to find safety, trying to scavenge, etc.
Where| All over, but ending up in the Northern part, around the caves
When| Week One and into the start of Week Two
Warnings/Notes| The usual
This arena, for all its strange faults, still reminded Holiday of the Zoo in its own odd way. She was just waiting for the 30ft tall monster to come around the next hill and eat her, but she really didn't care. That was familiar. This place was nice.
She stayed away from the obvious lures. Holiday didn't eat anything that looked edible and she didn't hunt, just in case. She had enough food for a little while. Her best bet may be to stay by the Cornucopia, but she wouldn't be the only one with that idea. She left that death trap, finding homes, buildings, wildlife, and people along the way until she made her way north... where things seemed to be less. Up here, it truly did feel away. She would stay here, die here probably, but this is where she was going to be.
((ooc: You can tag in at any point during her journey, from leaving the Cornucopia to ending up North. She would have been predominantly Southwest, then Northeast to end up there, but if you're in the lowest part of the island and want to tag her, go for it. She could have stumbled over there, too.))

Having scurried up a tree and securing the few belongings she had on her person, she found a vine she thought would do the trick and sprang off into empty space.
She felt the familiar pull of her shoulders against gravity and force as physics tried to punish her for her blatant defiance.
And all she could do was cackle.
"George George, George of the Jungle strong as he can beeeee!"

Still keeping her guard, Holiday smiled and came out of hiding to see the act, watching the blonde swing from tree to tree. After a moment of thought, Holiday followed on foot.

"It's only a problem if you're not into bondage. How about you Doc? Feeling kinky?" She purred despite how absolutely ridiculous she looked with her hair hanging around her like a blond curtain.

She began to climb the tree nearest to her, thankfully Harley wasn't too far up there, though.

"Whoooo! I wanna ride again!" She proclaimed in a dizzy haze.

She had run after Harley when the vines gave away and it looked like she would fall. Now, the doctor was just walking up to her with a smile. "You okay?"
no subject
"Ready and raring to go captain!" She declared with a giggle. "I dunno where to but we'll work out the details on the way."
Standing up she dusted off her backside "Thanks for the save." she added "I woulda been somebodies pinata."

Holiday wouldn't object to Harley coming along with her for a time if the other woman wanted to. She enjoyed her company, while she wasn't entirely sure on whether or not the woman could be trusted out here if worse came to worst... Yet, she still understood and probably wouldn't like Harley any less.

"I had a friend back home who could control plantlife. She woulda loved this place." She sighed missing Ivy like she had a hole in her heart.

Maybe not when she was back home, but it fit so well here. It was the only way to enjoy it.

"Well that's easy enough. We just have to drive you crazy. Once you're mind snaps it's alot easier to laugh at how terrible things are." She giggled and cackled.
"Like that see? And around here it can't be that hard to make a smart girl like you crazy. Your poor brain must already be straining under how over the top ridiculous and unexplainable the technology is."
no subject
"... See, I'm more than half way there now."
no subject
"Well I could always tell ya what snapped Donnie. He saw on a TV screen that after we died that first time our bodies were still back in candy land. So according to him we're all clones! The old Doc Holiday died ages ago and you're just another bag of meat with her memories and emotions...or possibly what they want you to believe are her memories and emotions. After all how would you know? If they tweaked your brain you might feel a way about someone or something, and it might be entirely them not you." She babbled cheerfully before giggling again like it was the best joke.
"Brains are funny that way."

"If they could tailor our minds to whatever they like, why haven't they changed my views on their, uh... political system? Or made me more likable to killing?... That's a very good theory, though. Best one I've heard yet."
And one she didn't want to think about too much, honestly. She's not Holiday? Well, whatever she is, she's still something, right? She still misses home, she still loves Six, she still thinks of Rex as her own, unless that was changed from an original mindset, too.
"I can see how that would drive someone crazy, but it's very interesting. Depressing, but interesting."
no subject
"It would be alot easier for them to just tweak our brainmeats to be obedient to their little games. So maybe they can't change everything. But obviously they can change some things. Even without surgery there's always brain washing, hypnosis. But it could be that whoever is in charge of writing the memories for the character of "Holiday" thinks it's more interesting if you're all twisted up and angsty over things."
She pouted her lips like the answer was lurking just out of reach.
"Of course speaking from a quack perspective, it could also be that such a dramatic shift in your core values would effectively break you and make you unable to function. Small shifts like memories and emotions might be easier to adjust then core values and deeply held beliefs...maybe. This is all wild speculation from the bag of meat and giggles that may or may not be a clinical looney who once graduated college."

Holiday thinks for a moment and nods in agreement. "You're right. Too much of a change would be far too noticeable and would probably result in a complete breakdown. It would be more entertaining to these people if I did have all of those old morals and stuff. It makes sense." Annoying sense, but still sense. She would need a drink later.
For now, the doctor just put her arm around Harley's shoulders, too. "Quack perspective, huh? Were you in psychology or are you just that good?"
no subject
That and some rather underhanded dealings she had with the head of the department.
"Didn't I tell you before? I sometimes forget I've told the story so many times. I got a job right out of college working at the forefront of criminal psychology. Arkham home for the criminally insane." She sighed nostalgically. "It was the best."
no subject
Made a lot of sense, really. Answered lots of questions. "Congratulations on getting honors, too."
no subject
"So I got the job, and I got to work with one of the biggest cases. The most insane. A man called "The Joker." It was love at first sight! Those eyes. That smile! That laugh! When he put his hands around my neck I knew we'd be together forever!" She sighed with a lovesick tone of voice.

Harley was too crazy and strong willed. Loved to have fun too much. That just seemed strange for her to be oppressed. Unless it was a kink thing... It was probably a kink thing.

"Everybody is somebody's fetish. It's a unique love we share."
Unique, twisted and warped. Potato, potahto.
"We've had our ups and downs of course. Before I got pulled here we were having a bit of private time from one another."
