Part One: The Robbery

Pruna had her sights on another victim. She crept along silently, aware that Shepard was not too far behind. She didn't mind the woman following her all that much, she was kind to her and didn't treat her like a baby. She was like an ally.

Pruna had her knife ready and glanced at Shepard once, before bursting out of the candy cane tree line, as quick as she could, trying to knock the feet of the man she was following out from under him before he realised she was there.

He was getting slow, and sloppy. His run in with Some had cost him an arm and he was feeling the fatigue of too little sleep for too long. He barely had time to look before he was flat on his back.

The impact dazed him badly enough to knock the wind out of him and left him dumbly looking up at his attacker.

The attacker pushed on, not pausing for a second. Knife in hand as she leaped at him, knife aiming for his neck, hoping for a quick kill, she had had too many messy fights, as shown by her blood stained clothes and hair.

He had to throw his weight toward his remaining arm and only missed a deadly slice by inches. Blood streamed from the wound she did inflict and he hissed as he kicked out at her, trying to get free and back on his feet where he would be most effective.

His kick landed and she fell back, rolling backwards and back onto her feet. She rushed at him again though, wanting to push her advantage, kicking out towards his knee.

Part Two: Finishing the Job

Part Three: The final death

Pruna ran, as best as she could. She could tell from her injury, where it was and how much it was bleeding that she was probably dying. But she refused to give up just yet and she refused to die in front of that man.

Or Shepard but the latter was because she liked Shepard and wanted her to think her brave and fearless. Pruna wasn't sure she could be fearless at the moment. She found a gingerbread cave, small enough for a Pruna and crawled into it, looking for the first aid kit in her bag in the darkness.

She wasn't sure there was any point to trying to patch herself up, but she was going to try. Because she was going to survive, she wasn't going to die again.
