Who| Gaila and open
What| Gaila's going a little stircrazy and violent
Where| Desert arena
When| Week 6
Warnings/Notes| She will be trying to lure people back to her camp to kill them. Possible scenes of violence or seduction. I'm good with her getting roughed up or tributes managing to escape from her

Jim was gone. Gaila had seen his face in the sky at one point through the oddly spaced days and nights. She had allowed herself to cry for five minutes to relieve the stress of it all before setting herself to her task with grim determination.

She set out several times a day, She-Hulk costume deliberately ripped in an appealing manner, weapons hidden on her. She intended on winning this now. And because Jim was gone she didn't have to hold back any more. Her eyes were bruised and looking red and sore, as she did everything she could possibly do to make herself look like a terrified victim.

It was only a matter of time before she stumbled upon another tribute.

Her- perhaps fake- tears softened Sigma's heart as much as it made him curious. He lowered his hands and tried to sound calm. It always paid to know which of them would backstab an ally. "...Stop whom?"

Sigma hesitated before taking a slow, single, step forward. "I understand your concern, but that isn't the game I play." He took a deep breath. "I have a son in the other Arena, you know. I'm sure he wouldn't be proud to watch me kill." He hoped the confession sounded natural, for saying those words aloud felt as though it could choke him before they left his throat (and Kyle would, in fact, be happy to see his father kill to survive).

"You don't have to hurt anyone," Sigma said calmly. "You forget this is a game of survival. Whoever has the most supplies, whoever can go without starving, they win, isn't that right? There's no need to take a life." It was like the Nonary Game: no one needed to die or kill eachother off, but it happened regardless. If only the participants would see another way..

He took a few careful steps forward. "I know," he reassured. "I'm not going to kill you, or take your supplies. Let's just talk, shall we, Gaila?"

The tension left Sigma's shoulders and he headed forward at a quickened pace. If he had had his doubts before, he believed her now from the bottom of his heart. "Are you thirsty? The waters have begun to dry, but I managed to secure a flask..." A drink should calm her nerves before he brought up her attacker again, he thought, and he still had the litre of lemonade hidden in his bag for himself.

As he drew near, Sigma smiled and extended his hand to steady her, their roles reversed since their last meeting.
