Who | Pepper, Danny, and Donny
What| death by Turtle?
Where | Desert arena.
When | Week 4
Warnings/Notes | chicken or death? Sorry all out of Chicken.
Pepper had agreed to stay near the camp, she had just needed to stretch her legs a little. In fact she could still see the camp from where she was standing up on a rock ledge.
The ground trembled a little, that had been happening a lot this week, though so far nothing too dangerous. Taking a small sip from her water she decided to head back, would only be a five minute back to the camp she was sharing with Danny and the Watsons. She'd check the snares she set the night before, maybe she'd be lucky with some small animal.
Feeling like she was being watched the red head turned scanning the rocks above. Surely no one knew where the little camp was right? She had been careful to stay under the ridge line just in case. Shrugging it off she finished walking by the traps, none had been tripped. Looked like she would have to wait until later to check them again. The others were better at this than she was, then again two of them had been in arenas before.
Pepper paused outside the camp a moment, the feeling was back. Dropping the few twigs she had picked up for the fire she moved to draw her knife. "Who's out there?"

And in the case of these two Tributes, their destroyer.
Quietly, Don maneuvered through the brush and hills, getting closer and closer to the two to their camp. He was going to kill these two. He had no problem with this. Not anymore. Because that was meant Tributes were meant to do. He knew he was going to die, eventually, whether by the hand of a Tribute, than hand of the Capitol, or the hand of the Rebellion.
And he didn't care.
And so he inched closer, not responding to Pepper's call.

"Danny, didn't trap anything." She made it to the center of the camp site. The feeling was still there she realized, turning to scan the area behind her again. The ground trembled a little under her feet and she stood still, the tremors were still low enough to be deep, unnerving, but hey not threatening right. It actually reminded her of some of the areas of New York, where the subway was closer to the surface.
Her attention had been drawn from the rocks though, looking down at her feet just to make sure it really was safe.

The teen managed to keep grip on her knife, her free hand clutching where she had been cut, managing not to scream in pain too loudly, yay for shock. Though she did move deeper into camp trying to find cover.

You couldn't be in a good mood while in the arena, it just wasn't possible. But, at least in this case, Danny was sort of in a good mood.
Which quickly went the way of the dodo when he reached the camp site. Well, shit.
"Get the fuck off her!" he pulled out his machete, dropping the poor dead animals on the ground and rushing to Pepper's defense.

He saw Danny come at him, however, and he had no problem with throwing the knife he'd just picked up at the cop. He still had several left, as well as the horn. And if it was a fight these Tributes wanted? It was a fight they'd get.
He was...maybe going to enjoy it. Maybe he already was. There wasn't much else left to do, after all.

"I don't think he's all there right now Danny!" Hey normally they'd say something right? She tried kicking again, this time aiming for a knee.
