Eliot clenched his fists as he walked. Momoko and Ariadne were dead. Nothing he'd done had saved them. His ally and his... Well, he'd come to view Momoko as a little sister of sorts. She reminded him of a young Sophie. And Ariadne had turned out not to be the person he'd initially seen. He would have chosen Momoko over her if it came down to it but she hadn't deserved to die any more than the blond teenager.

He sighed quietly. He couldn't afford to cry now. After he won, after he made the Capitol pay for murdering the young woman and the child, then he would have time to mourn. Now, he had to focus on getting out of here alive. He hitched the pack slightly higher on his shoulder and looked around as the sound of someone moving near him reached his ears.

"You should just stay away from me!" She pushed her make shift weapon a little towards him, in an almost shooing motion. If everyone just left her alone, maybe she could figure out a way to get them out of this. But him being her was starting to make her more than a little nervouse.

"I'm just passing through. If you get out of my way, I'll happily leave you alone. But I doubt I'll be the only one coming through here. You sure picked yourself a fine territory. This is a bottle neck. Everyone's gonna be coming through here. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to play king of the mountain."

Her attitude was really starting to grate on his nerves. If she really wanted to be left alone, she would leave when she was invited to. If she pushed this to a fight, she didn't stand a chance. How stupid can she possibly be?

But she had supplies here. Not many but she didn't want him taking any of them. She had to stand her ground, at least until she ould gather them up and move.

"There are other ways around."

"This is the only street with an entrance to the park left on this side of the collapse. There is no other way around."

He started walking again. Hopefully, she'd have the sense to leave him alone.
