Who| Chris, Holiday, anyone else in arena 1
What| Nightfall
Where| Arena 1, Camp
When| nightfall
Warnings| Post dated because really I derp! And may be cursing, violence, gore... ya know usual stuff (If it gets real bad I'll edit the warning)
Camp was actually easier to set up than he had thought it would be. The candy shrubs weren't that great for a long term shelter, but really long term in the arena wasn't that big a deal.
Chris hadn't been far when night fell, blinding him for a moment. Took a little while to get back, he had his knife in hand, listening in the brush, he wouldn't bring danger to her unless there was no other way, the shelter he had built may be okay, but he didn't think it would stand up to a fight if one happened.
Finding the coast clear he worked the long way back to the camp, still mumbling his luck had been bad, he hadn't found anything else to use as a splint for her. When he had left he was sure shock will have set in before he got back, but they had needed water. Even if it was the milkshake like sludge from the lake.

The shock of sudden darkness didn't help either. Wasn't Chris still out there? Well she was in a predicament, too, but there's no telling where he was when darkness fell and she was too scared to call out in case someone heard... She wasn't sure she could anyway.
Holiday shivered and fell back to the ground with no better way of handling herself.

"Doc?" His voice was quiet, not wanting to alert anyone who might be around. "Doc you still here?" He made a mental note to try and get a fire of some sort going as soon as he made sure she was okay so they could see a little.

"Chris?" He was back, though. That's what mattered... Though anything else she wanted to say was lost quickly.

"How are you feeling?" He had gathered dry twigs, maybe he'd be lucky and be able to start a small fire. Okay so he wasn't sure if it would work, he had failed at that part of boy scouts training, but it would keep him busy so he could keep an eye on her. "I didn't mean to be gone so long."

"Fine," she answered a little bit louder than before, but her voice was still weak and hoarse. If she passed out, this wouldn't be good. She was already shivering. "Got worried about you..."

Still, her soul felt heavy and in the back of her mind she thought about how much more useful could be to both Tims if she was with them or, maybe better, back in the Capitol. Stephanie forced herself to keep those thoughts far in the back of her mind as she kept walking.
The tell-tale signs of a camp drew her attention. Cautiously she moved around, hand reaching for a throwing star just in case. "Olly olly oxen free..."

"Who's there?" Hey with Doc wounded he was going to be careful.
sorry i'm late ;; won't happen again
... If she didn't try to help Chris or die before then... At least she's more alert now from fear.
it's okay, i'm molasses
Stephanie inched closer, ready for an attack but hoping for a friendly face. "I'm not here to hurt you." She stepped through the brush and raised a tired hand. "See, totally friendly."
