[ OPEN ]
Who| Gabriel and OPEN
What| Just chillin' and being a loud dick
Where| Fantasyland
When| Beginning of week 4
Warnings/Notes| He might not be so nice to everyone he comes across, but he won't necessarily attack everyone, either.
Gabriel finally managed to find his way to Fantasyland and he should have just come here in the first place. He'd been practically starving as he tipped over the edge of the area and then suddenly he was an archangel again. He almost wanted to kick himself for that, because really? He could have been here the whole time.
The first thing he did once he was over the surprise and relief was look for something fun. He was in the happiest place on Earth and he deserved some happy. There was part of a rotted out, gutted car from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. With a snap of his fingers, it was good as new.
Better than that, he hopped in and what do you know, it worked even without a track! He started to drive the little thing around the remnants of the carousel, mai tai in one hand. Once or twice, he hit the klaxon horn and it let out a loud, comedic ahooga sound.
It was a challenge. Come and get him, because he was ready for it.

With Lindsey securely in the little car, he started to drive it again, this time more calmly. He'd spent so long running alone before he even got here and it was nice to have someone he could at least run away with.
"Technically, I'm an archangel, which is cooler and more badass." He took them past what was left of the storybook boat ride's giant whale.

Rather than be too awed though, his eyebrows just went up as he gave the celestial being an appraising look. "Always thought you'd be taller." Lindsey, perhaps the only person who would call an archangel, who newly regained his full powers, short.
And not worry about any smiting either. He kicked back in his seat, drank his cocktail, and let Gabriel drive. "How in hell did Panem catch your feathery ass?"
no subject
How did they get him? He was still trying to figure that one out. Catching Castiel should have been hard, but he should have been an even harder get.
"Good question. Might have been related to my being dead at the time." He kept his eyes ahead and hoped Lindsey wouldn't ask about it. "That's really all I've got to go on."

Though admittedly Lindsey was somewhat surprised by that similarity between them. He spent his own moment studying the condensation on his cold cocktail glass.
"Here I thought I was the only one like that... though I still think Panem might be a holding dimension for the dead." It wouldn't explain why all the other people were here, but maybe they died too and didn't know about it.

With a deep breath, he spoke again, voice back to its usual chipper tone. "Which is why I am totally winning this thing." There was no Lucifer here and no Michael, who was likely equally angry at Gabriel. Castiel could maybe get him, but it would be hard and he would have to get lucky. Of course given how up Dean's ass Castiel had been when they'd spoken, he honestly might.
Gabriel made a mental note to look out for Castiel.

It meant that if Lindsey wanted to win this and kill Gabriel, they would have to leave Fantasyland first. That was something to keep in mind.
"So you would rather win this and lose your powers?" Lindsey considered his own choices. "It isn't so bad living like the way we do, all they ask is for you to die a few times."
no subject
So... he was pretty much boned either way. "Not a fan of the dying thing, though. Might be a deal-breaker for me."
no subject
"Give and take. You can get used to it, it's not so bad." Although he was still planning on trying to get out of it. Unlike Gabriel, sticking around the games and being able to cast a few spells wasn't that large an allure for him.
"Better than being permanently dead and stuck in some corner of a hell dimension... where you might get killed everyday anyway." The edge in his smile suggested that he might have some personal experience with that.

It wasn't that Gabriel wasn't self-centered, but he was a little less-so than he put on, so he did pick up on Lindsey's meaning. It was kind of sad. He wasn't going to pretend that he thought Lindsey was a righteous or pious man or anything, but he was an alright guy and Gabriel liked him and okay, okay, so he had kind of done something similar to Dean, but he'd been teaching a lesson. It was different.
"You're not related to any Winchesters, right?" Still, better safe than sorry after Lady-Dean choked the shit out of him.
no subject
Though the question about the Winchesters niggled something at the back of his mind. The name was familiar... Where had he heard them before?
Oh.
"That's the Dean guy and De girl? No relationship besides having killed them both last round."
