Cornucopia: The Sequel
WHO| Everyone going back to the Cornucopia
WHAT| Picking on the leftovers. Who lives? Who dies? Who looks exceptionally smashing in their Tribute unforms?
WHEN| Two days in
WHERE| The Cornucopia.
WARNING/NOTES| Violence! Possible salty language!
Max made slow headway toward the Cornucopia. Even while her genetic enhancements were being suppressed, she still had sharp eyes and could move with great stealth. Pausing, she half turns while keeping her eyes on the area to murmur to the others with her.
"Lottie, you and Tony think you can manage to collect some things? Don and I will keep an eye on you both."
She sees a spot that looks like it might be clear for a snatch and grab and gestures that she intends to move forward unless her team tries to stop her.

He gives her a shove that he hopes will give him enough distance to get away from her. "You, too, I see."

"Look." she says, her fists upraised as she begins a slow circle around him like a panther eyeballing another predator. "Rather than the two of us pummel each other to death, your buddies can get what they can grab, mine do the same, and the audience will just have to wait who manages to blow who up later in the game. Because I really don't want to have to kill you today, and I'm just too pretty to die just yet."

Then he sees Max coming. Once Eliot is off of him, he stands up, holding his wrist.
"Ngh!..."
Shell. His radial artery was nicked. That was bad. He could feel the blood start to come out. He was going to slowly bleed out if he didn't do something soon.
If he didn't bleed to death right away, that is. He held his wrist tight, making sure the two didn't see it - or him - again as he began to back away to escape.

He walks back to Ariadne. His body picks that moment to let him know how displeased it is with all he just put it through. His right wrist aches where the girl twisted it. If his ribs aren't bruised, at the very least, he's Lucille 3.

Max, true to her word, begins to back away from Eliot, but keeps her fists up in case he's inspired to go for another round.
Once there's enough distance, she turns and heads off, following Donatello's blood trail.
Blood trail....oh no.

However, Don heard someone coming, and he quickly looked up to see Max. He wasn't going to let her panic. Or to see him panic. Even if she doesn't believe the next thing that comes out of his mouth
"Its ok." He managed to smile. "I-it looks worse than it is. We've got to find Lottie and Tony."

He looks around them. Something inside him freezes as he realizes someone's missing. "Where's Momoko?"

And then another glance around, her frown fading: "She was right behind me-"

They'd find her.
She's trailing behind Eliot, eyes still scanning the immediate area for the blonde girl, knowing full well that she wouldn't blend in that well.

"This way," he calls to Ariadne and Kaiden as he takes off running in the direction the tracks lead.

He moves the fingers on his right hand. The pain makes him hide a wince. "Dammit," he whispers. If he gets in another fight before he has a chance to treat his wrist, he's screwed. And he can't do that until he knows Momoko's safe.

"Are you all right?" She asks after a moment, hurrying to fall into step with Eliot. For now, she'll stay. Until he tells her again to go.

She did so before either of them came along, after all.

He shakes his head. No, this really is not the time to indulge in that kind of thoughts. They need to find Momoko. Besides, the Arena is no place for lust.

So when he shakes his head, she blinks, wondering what exactly he was thinking. Not that she states as much.
"We should get moving again."

He glances at the ground and starts following Momoko's footsteps again.
