So far so good. The girl had been sticking with Adel, finding food. Staying safe. This game was very different than what she had thought. The lady she had met in the city was right, you had to be smart more than strong. There was a lot more than just fighting.

She was out looking for food now, Adel was lucky, she ate grass and there was lots of that. The girl's eyes darted around, looking for monsters or other tributes. She had a knife now one that folded up, and still had her rock filled shoes round her neck.

She found the sleeping man by accident and grinned to herself. She could go all the way to the place where the food grew, or she could just see if the detective had any.

Adachi thought hiding out in an old abandoned train would be okay, that no one would be able to notice him sleeping at night. Unfortunately when you sleep by yourself, you kind of don't realize how much you snore, which considering the buzz saw that was going off as Pruna poked around, it was a miracle that no one had killed him yet.

The detective suddenly let out a snort, rolling over in his sleep and muttering, "Sakiii... no fair..." but other then that, it didn't seem like he'd be waking up any time soon. Perfect opportunity, right...?

The girl grinned and crept closer heading towards his supplies, the snoring was useful for telling if he was still sleeping deeply and she kept alert as she began rifling through his things looking for food or other useful things to steal.

Something in the varied things he had pilfered let out a metallic sound as she rifled through his belongings, and Adachi let out a loud snort in response. There was a tense silence that followed… before the snoring started again, only softer this time, sounding… off.

Adachi's eyes had almost flown open when the noise woke him up, though he just barely managed to avoid it. He lay there, barely daring to breathe as he kept his eyes closed. If someone was there and he wasn't dead yet, then whoever it was either was more interested in food or was trying to see if he had a weapon. Fortunately for him, the only weapon he had was in his head. Unfortunately, he couldn't tell if there actually was someone there without giving away that he was awake. So… he continued "snoring," or at least trying too, hoping he could catch them off guard.

Unfortunately for Adachi, the one rifling through his belongings was well trained. Being able to tell sleeping breathing from waking was one of the earliest skills she had been taught and he wasn't even that good at faking.

She turned around knife in hand, "I do be knowing you do be awake."

...well, he tried. At least he knew for sure who was here.

Adachi let out a sigh as he pushed himself up, rubbing a hand over his eyes as he pivoted to where he heard the little girl from before. He couldn't see very well; it was fairly dark in the train, and he didn't exactly have the best night vision after just waking up.

"What are you doing?"

"It do be being no of your business." She gripped the knife and stepped slowly closer to him. He was a sort of warrior, after talking to Adel she knew that their worlds were different ones. But still it was too much to ask that the warriors in his world weren't immensely aware of their surroundings.

And he was a bit like a city guard, and they didn't react well to thieving brats.

Adachi let out a sigh, rolling over so as to get up to his feet. He hadn't seen the knife, and he really had no reason to suspect she'd have one, or the killing intent to use it. That was his first mistake.

"Listen, kiddo, if you're looking for food, you're not going to find much of anything here," he began. He'd give her some if he had much of anything, but he only had what he could salvage in Tomorrowland.

As he moved she panicked, she only had a tiny knife and her shoes. Once he was on his feet he would be a definite threat and she didn't believe the gentleness in his voice, no one reacted that calmly to being robbed, not if they weren't planning something.

She leaped at him, she was small and light but fast and if he didn't manage to throw her off he would soon find her bony knee in the muscle of his thigh, a hand pinning down one of his and another with a knife in it at his throat.

It was a lucky guess as to where to hit him to get him down on her part; when he was walking around normally, he didn't get pain in his leg anymore from when he was shot. Only when he had been running for really hard or for protracted periods did it actually hurt; of course, it also did when someone decided to shove their bony knee there. He fell, probably a lot faster than she was planning for him to fall, considering the knife he hadn't seen sunk right into his throat.

It was a moment before Adachi's eyes went wide with shock, having trouble processing what the hell just happened. It took him a long moment to realize there was blood running down his neck, soaking into the front of his ridiculous costume. What... why...? When...?

Oops, she hadn't actually meant for the knife to draw blood. But she could work with this, after all he couldn't hurt her if he was dead and she had warned him, everyone had to die and just because he was being silly and not wanting to kill didn't mean he'd be spared.

"I did be telling you, we do be having to be following the rules."

Adachi tried to say something in response, but talking with your throat cut wasn't exactly easy... or doable, for that matter. A rasping gasp escaped from him, and he crumpled to the ground, his limbs starting to feel heavy, and it was difficult to move, let alone try and breathe.

If there was anything good about this it was that the little girl wasn't one to leave a job half done. So she blinked at him with wide green eyes, "May the gods be always watching over you and may your soul be being reborn into darkness." The prayer was whispered before she lent down again and slit his throat properly.
