Taking a little ride [closed]
Who: Barbara Gordon and Harley Quinn.
What: Exploring the Space Mountain Car.
Where: Space Mountain
When: Third day
Warnings/Notes: ...Don't try this at home????
"Harley?" Barbara whispered, worrying. Where had the clown girl gotten to this time? She'd been tracking the blonde as best she could, but the woman kept slipping away. She tried not to feel guilty about it, but she knew whatever trouble Harley got into was her fault. The whole reason of traveling with the good doctor, after all, was to keep an eye on her. At least she was reasonably certain she'd followed Harley to the right place this time, though.

"Harley!" she called, picking her voice a little. "This is because I complained about your makeup, isn't it?" she glanced around, wondering if she was just imagining the eyes on her. "I mean, it's cute and all; it just seems like a little much..."

Today she found herself exploring the massive dome that seemed to be the focal point of the area. And as she casually strolled around with her hands behind her back like a tourist. It was here she found a cart rattling and rocking in place like a child eager to go dashing away from it's parents.
"ooooo~" Harley's eyes lit up at the hopes of finally getting to ride something.

At last she spotted the woman, rocking one of the ride cars.
"What are you doing?" she whispered, voice pitched low. It would be just their luck if Harley sprung some ambush while getting into what was most likely a trap.

She so is not getting in that thing.

Ignoring the fact that everything in the park had fallen into disrepair.

"Seriously you must have been SO boring back in Gotham. I bet you're a real daddies girl. Always toeing the line. Doing what you're told. No risks no reward Babs!"

She shouldn't care what this girl thought about her. But the realization that Harley wasn't eve taking her seriously was irritating.
She came forward, leaning over the car to peek at the wheels.]

Then she leaned forward with a sly look on her rounded cheeks. Apparently the effort made the wound in her side act up because she winced but kept the smile on her face, "But I bet Daddy would never have approved~"

"Pops always said she was a bad influence..." Not that Barbara ever got into much trouble from their activities.

This was enough to take her mind off her project at hand and she put her feet up on the seat in front of her.
"Yeah she really is the best friend a girl could hope for. She's taken a bullet for me. And I'd do the same for her in a heartbeat...preferably not in the heart of course but you know how it is. BFFs and all that." She sighed. "I bet she'd hate this place. But maybe we could find her some nice trees or bushes."

"Wait. Play?" Not to mention die. Last she checked, Poison Ivy wasn't that dangerous. Just a little bit... sporey. And kinda evil. "As in... play?"

Without even an answer to her question!

"This is gonna be fine! I built a roller coaster once!" Harley shouted over the rattling of the cart on the tracks. The rumbling and clanking getting louder as they passed through the archway into the darkness. She winced as once again her bite wound was aggravated by tensing her body and wrapping her arms around Barbara. But with any luck the excitement and adrenaline would help her forget.

"Let me guess... death trap?"
no subject
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
no subject
"Is the ride supposed to be doing this?" she asked. For that matter, would they be better off flying free from that stupid thing?

The cart itself flew into free space while they watched it vanish into the shadows and crash somewhere below.

"Tell me you hear that?"
no subject
"I hear lots of stuff. I'm crazy remember?" She muttered slowly inching back onto the track where she could find better footing. It wasn't easy in the dark.

These do.

It seemed laughter was a conditioned response to pain for her, go figure.

And the girls may be starting to feel a little... strange.

She fell onto her bottom. "Ow..."

"That was NUTS!" She exclaimed out loud hearing her voice echo in the darkness.
