we can make a dress so pretty, there's nothing to it really (ota)
WHO: Anna Morasca, Eliot Spencer, possibly Lindsey McDonald and Parker, open to others
WHAT: Anna takes a moment to "alter" her uniform and finally meets up with the man she's been looking for.
WHEN: Day 2, various times of the day
WHERE: Tomorrowland, near Space Mountain
WARNINGS: Rampant sarcasm; possible violence, swearing, partial nudity... y'know, the usual.
While avoiding the Cornucopia may have been a good idea at first, the rumble in Anna's stomach made her think twice. Luckily, her search for Eliot and Parker was fruitful (literally) and she settled near a fruit tree that gave her both an excellent vantage point as well as cover. After eating, she stripped down to her slip and boots, draping her cape from the tree so she could get to work.
Anyone wandering by this particular corner is privy to a view of Anna in her slip, seated atop a large rock, trying to cut the seams on the skirt of her dress with a piece of sharpened steel she found inside of Space Mountain.

"Had I gone for the Cornucopia, I might need to. I stayed as long as I could, then I heard four cannons after I took off." Leaning over, she gestures for him to come closer. Of course, by necessity it's all cryptic double-talk and carefully-chosen words. But the meaning remains the same: I'm unharmed and glad you're okay. I waited for you til I was almost attacked. I was worried you might have died.

"Have you seen Parker?"
no subject
He shakes his head. "Not yet."

While he wasn't pleased with his own clown get up, he hadn't gotten to the point of wanting to go around half naked yet. The metal bar he salvaged was heaved over one sholder while his pack slung on the other. He also wore a wide, unrepentant grin.
"Are we getting that naked fashion show?" he asked without any qualms of approaching them.

She finishes the last of her slits and hands the knife over to Eliot, hand immediately going to retrieve the scrap metal of her own just in case.
"There's no naked fashion show, sorry to disappoint." Of course her tone says she's hardly apologetic at all. In fact, she's rather annoyed.

He finally turned to Eliot with a grin. Standing face to face, the differences between them were more apparent, but so were the similarities.
"Nothing raises popularity more than some skin. And it's international too," Lindsey answered without any sign of remorse. "I don't think Panem has any other nations, to be honest."

"And as much as the public might like the idea of an incestual threeway? Never gonna happen." Because apparently Anna thinks Lindsey is thinking of that.

"Two for the price of one. Don't you love twins?"
no subject
Oops, did she just say that last part out loud?

"No, guess I don't. Since what I have to say is pretty much crap, this third wheel will take himself elsewhere. You two lovebirds have fun." Giving the two of them a wave of his fingers, Lindsey turned and walked off the way he came.

When Don tried to treat his arm with the medication he was sent, it caused his arm to start bleeding again. It didn't help that he didn't know where he was or how he got there. He'd lost so much blood that he didn't remember half of the night. If he met anyone, if he'd seen anyone.
At this point, it was taking everything in his power not to fall unconscious again. He had to try and stave off infection. He had to at least find Lottie, bring her to Maximus or Eliot, or someone who could protect them. He had the feeling he wasn't going to last long in the Arena like this. And if he did, he'd be of no use.
i'm so sorry i'm such a failure at tags lately! ;;
Sharpened metal chunk in hand, she approaches slowly as per her police training and rounds the corner ready to strike.
"Donatello?!"
She drops to her knees beside him and pulls him close so she can look at the amputation. "Shit. Donatello, listen to me. Do you have a fire-startin' kit? Matches, a lighter, anythin'?"

"...This a private de-sewing party, or can anyone join?"
no subject
But she looks like a kid...
"Depends. How old are you?"
