Let action speak the loudest. [closed]
Who| Bruce and Thor, eventually Tony and probably Clint.
What| Thor targets Bruce and goes for the kill, Tony has understandable reservations.
Where| Wherever the Avengers have re-camped out.
When| Week five.
Warnings/Notes| Brainwashing, friend-murders.
Thor has never been particularly meticulous with keeping time. Asgardians age slower, time isn't so much of the essence when you live a hundred times more than the average human. Even so, weeks trapped in the harsh light of a fluorescent prison cell have made his judgement even more flimsy. He feels the Arena has gone on too long, he's growing more and more restless of the outcome. He wonders who else could be out there, scheming and plotting to take him down. His former alliances in particular pose a threat, one that bars him from sleeping or lingering long in any one area.
He's been injured a considerable amount, so it's sheer force of will that keeps him on his feet at this point. He spares little time to threat his wounds and it shows. His speed suffers for it, but he pushes all of that down. With so much blood on his hands, it's crucial that he finds all of the Avengers and strikes them down before they can band together and do the same.
Something deep in him resists, but he fights it. He swallows it down like it's nothing more than an unpleasant feeling.
It's half luck and skill that draws him toward Bruce. The smell of smoke is in the air and it makes him all the more frantic in his approach. He steps out of the bushes sizing the smaller man up briefly before he launches for him. Everything about his attack is desperate, primal and vicious. He's got a knife, but he's looking to get Bruce into a chokehold if he can. No embellishments, no glory of battle, just quick and brutal elimination.

His instinct is to immediately fight back. He has a carving knife. When Thor tries to grab him, he goes to slash him--Thor is covered in blood, when was the last time he ate, what did the Capitol do to him, Bruce had known he was alive he should have done something to help him--and, without even realizing he's doing it, he's saying, "Back off, I don't want to hurt you!"
Thor is bigger and stronger than him. He hopes he's yelling loudly enough for Clint or Tony--no, no, just Clint to hear him, he doesn't want Tony to get in the middle of this, he wouldn't fair much better.

The slash is enough to have him draw back some, a grimace on his face and a growl on his lips when he does. He circles Bruce like prey, aware that he might draw out others. It makes him act all the faster and he wastes no time drawing his knife and advancing on Bruce.
He steps in quick, aiming to stab at his chest or his throat without so much as a word.

And right now, it doesn't look very likely that he'll get out of this alive.
He slashes with his knife again, trying to push Thor away, trying to keep him from pushing the knife deeper or moving it around. Hopefully keep him from pulling it out, too, but that may be a fair bit more difficult when keeping all the other things in mind.

He's certainly removed the knife, only so he can try to bury it elsewhere. This is the opposite of a fun game of hide the knife for anyone involved.

He gets up to come out and join the conversation until he realizes the sounds outside is a scuffle, then he starts running. Of course seeing Thor there is a shock enough considering their last meeting in the arena, Seeing what he's doing is worse. He grabs the knife from his side and grips it tight, his jaw set.
Without anything so much as a shout to announce his presence he runs at Thor, hoping to either cause a distraction, or cause an attack.

Then he sees Tony. He doesn't acknowledge him, because then that would draw Thor's attention, but it makes him finally try to actually stab Thor in the chest. He doesn't want to hurt Thor, but he wants Thor to kill Tony even less. He doubts he can do much, but at least he might be able to slow him down.

His triumph is fleeting, he doesn't expect Bruce to have the strength in him to stab back. He's not sure where the renewed energy and viciousness is coming from, but the stab hurts and that's what matters. Thor cries out in pain, but he wastes no time slashing the knife at Bruce's neck before he stumbles backward with his hand clasping over the wound in his chest.
The stumbles back him into Tony and he turns so fast his hair whirls around wildly. He seems thrown, briefly, not taking action for a good moment before he tries to take a more menacing approach toward Tony.

They've done something to him to make him like this, he doesn't want to hurt Thor or make it worse, but right now all he can think about is getting Thor away from Bruce.
"Little beneath you isn't it? Taking out the harmless scientist?"
He knows Bruce isn't harmless, but really goading Thor seems like the right option right now.
