WHO| Steve Rogers, Tony Stark
WHAT| Steve finds Tony hiding in a crevice.
WHEN| Start of week one
WHERE| Rocky area
WARNINGS| PTSDish stuff, but nothing really big.
If Tony had to be 100% honest with himself, he has no idea how long he's been hiding in this rock crevice. All that he knows for certain is that he scrabbled in knowing it was too small for Thor to get into to follow him, he pauses for a second in the middle of his recollections.
Not only did they take Thor, but they changed him.
The thought that even one so certain of himself like Thor could be forced to submit to whatever they did to him causes a new wave of panic in Tony, feeling his chest tighten. He presses a hand too his chest trying not to let the attack win. Think, he needs to think, he's in a whole in a big rock hiding from a team mate in an arena that gives him no opportunity to defend himself in a manner he fully understands. Okay this really isn't helping him calm down. What also doesn't help is that he can hear footsteps coming his way, he breathes faster without wanting too and pushes himself more against the rock surface behind him, as he tries to make himself as small as possible he moves the stones underfoot causing them to make noise, he already knows that the entrance looks attacked and scuffed, so his making more noise with his breathing and stone disturbing is really only going to draw more attention.
And after having to deal with the fact he is once again in an arena that makes him redundant and that he was almost killed by a friend, this whole staying calm and not panicking deal really isn't working.
