We will take your things

Who: Pruna, Sandy and You!
What: Sandy and Pruna during week three, mostly sneaking and trying to steal things
Where: Everywhere!
When: Beginning of week three
WARNINGS: Mentions of torture and killing. Probably foul language. Little girls being far too violent then they should have to be.

They were still alive. Pruna tried to ignore the surprise she felt at that. They should be still alive, she was strong. She was. And Sandy was getting stronger, she had even killed people. Pruna was proud of her for that.

However they were hungry, Pruna didn't like going to the cafeteria, even more since the explosion. Too much opportunity for others to kill you, but not one person had sent them a gift this arena. Even in her very first arena before anyone had known that she could kill she had gotten gifts. But now no one liked them, all because they had got arrested. It made her angry.

But it also made them a bit more free, everyone hated them so it didn't matter what they did. No one was going to help them so they had to only help themselves.

Which made the key that Sandy had very useful.

They could often be found in the locker room, or up getting into doors that they really should be getting into.

Or hiding in wait, ready to ambush anyone who went past. They were armed, and getting more desperate.

Shepard knew one thing about food, learned long ago when she had been much smaller even than Sandy and Pruna. You took what you could, when you could, and hid it away. She went to the foodcourt, she stockpiled, she squirreled things away. When she found something edible, she took it-- the food court was a place to eat only because of it's convenience to the sources of food.

Those bubbling cauldrons of frying-oil had warned her on the very first day that this was not a place to stay.

So, needless to say, she has a sack that was once a very plush hoody for some sports team that favored brown for their team spirit. It makes for an ugly, if spacious sack, and it is making her a target.

Fair enough; she never led from behind a desk. But nobody stays lucky forever.

Time could be a cruel teacher, and if their previous interactions with Shepard had taught the girls anything? It was that striking first without confirming your target could only end in trouble.

But...there was something comforting in the continual challenge of pulling a fast one on the seasoned warrior.

A bucket full of mop water would be their distraction as it was shoved out from behind a toppled over table at Shepard. That was Sandy's contribution to the sneak attack. It would be up to Pruna to make the second part work.

And if not then it would be up to Sandy.

The bucket sloshed noisily, doing it's part of the plan admirably-- she stopped, sudden motion bringing adrenaline and puzzlement in equal measure. What the hell?

The shiff of fabric alerted her, and without thinking, Shepard threw the sack at random and vaulted the overturned table, one-handed. She stumbled, very tripped over the hidden body behind it, unseen. And again:

"What the hell?"

Sandy let out a yelp as Shepard half landed on her and instinctively lashed out with her tiny fists. Shepard had taught her how to throw a punch without breaking her fingers.

Hopefully she would appreciate Sandy's form as the hands pummeled wildly at everything between Shepard's thighs and belly.

Shepard dodged desperately. It wasn't that she worried about Pruna killing her, it was only-- Well, hadn't she been through enough?

Sandy was under her, flailing madly, Pruna was coming over the table like an angry Varren, and Shepard used that leverage to kick and roll and somehow gain her feet just in time to half stumble on a chair.

It was, quiet possibly, the least graceful she'd ever been, and she's mad as hell about it, "What the hell is wrong with you two?!"

Sandy groaned from the ground where she'd been flattened by Shepard's escape. "You're usually happy when we try stuff like that."

It wasn't that she ever actually wanted to kill Shepard, but Pruna seemed to savor the challenge and Shepard always encouraged them when tried. Sandy had just always hoped that they'd be able to incapacitate her without killing her.
