Do ya need a break from modern livin'? Do ya long to shed your weary load?
What: part1: Harley has booby trapped some plush toys to explode
part2: This crazy bitch is driving a luxury SUV around the mall.
Where: All over the mall
When: All of Week 2
Warnings: People
Part A
It's innocent looking enough. A cute plush doll laying discarded on the floor. Interestingly enough it's someone you're fond of!
Lurking nearby, perhaps in a trashcan or a planter or behind that display case is Harley Quinn, still in her clown makeup and dress and waiting...juuuust waiting for you.
She's been watching you, waiting for the right moment to cast out this bait. A long thin fishing line leads from her glove clad fingers to the doll itself, almost invisible to the naked eye. And inside that doll the fishing line is tied to the pin of one of her grenades.
Will you pick up the bait? Will you survive the blast? May the odds be ever in your favor~
Part B
It starts around lunchtime when the fresh food has been resupplied in the food court area. The squealing of tires and the roaring of an engine are not your only warning that something is coming...but it's a good start.
Aside from the occasional crash of a bench or a sign being smashed into there is music blaring out from the open windows of the Luxury SUV that Harley has helped herself to.
Occasionally doing doughnuts, occasionally driving backwards she starts on the third floor Harley has learned that if she drives at full speed she can jump the cushy vehicle from one floor down to the one below it with only some minor bruising. She also learned with delight that no matter how badly she wrecks the thing...it reappears the next day.
And so...every day this week Harley will be returning to take the SUV from it's pedestal and resume her rampage. Does anyone dare stop this madwoman?
Does anyone want to join her?

Made her heart ache a little, in a way that she didn't think it would. When she pulled her hand back, it fell into her lap and absentmindedly, her fingers traced over the spot. It was silly, she thought, to be so effected by it. It was just a kind gesture, one that didn't hold quite the same meaning in this place that it would back home. It shouldn't make her feel any sort of ache, or any sort of confusion.
"You're too kind," she said, a little delayed as she pulled herself out of her thoughts, giving Harley a smile. When she turned to look in the back seat though, her smile grew wider. "They're precious!" she said, her voice more sincere. "I love them- where did you find them?"

"See that shop down there past the ice rink? Yeah down there. That's the Build-a-buddy workshop where you can make your own plushies of any of the tributes." She explained cheerfully.
"I've been camping out there but I can't leave my babies behind. Those little roomba robots steal them if you leave them alone for long."
no subject
"Anna and I haven't really found a good place to camp out," she said. "We just make our way from store to store."
After a moment, she added, "Can this thing go faster?"
no subject
"Hold onto your title your majesty~" she cheered and lay on the gas. The engine roared as it began to creep faster and faster, turning the windows, signs and displays around them into colorful blurs. The needle on the dashboard was inching higher up the speedometer.
Despite her erratic nature, Harley was highly experienced with reckless driving and knew just how fast she could push the thing before turns would become impossible.

She feels a little silly for it, but some things just can't be helped.

"You know one of the best parts about this nightmare?" Harley called over the radios music.
With a wink she explained before Elsa could ask "you're getting more confident every day and it suits you. You 're no stuffy stuck up royal. You are a brave a strong leader with a warm and toasty heart. If it weren't for you I woulda lost instead of becoming a mentor ya know?"
no subject
Cool, pun absolutely intended.
"Hmm?" she asks thoughtfully, looking out of the window as everything zooms by. A part of her can't help, even before Harley speaks, think of how... different everything is, compared to back home. If you'd asked her if she would ever do something like this six months ago, the answer would be no. Absolutely not. Never. And look at her now, doing it and enjoying it. Whether it's because she's truly changed, simply doing something reckless because of all the stress, or just because she's always had it in her, she isn't sure. But what she does know is that it's just exciting, and she can't imagine ever being the stuffy old queen that wouldn't do something like this.
So as Harley voices her thoughts, she can't help but grin. "Harley, I think you're right," she says, sticking her hand out of the open window to feel the wind rushing past. She can't even bring herself to feel upset about the mention of her sacrifice. "Some people are worth dying for," she calls over the roar of the music. "And you've helped me so much, Harley, I... it came naturally to me."
She truly does have Harley to thank for playing a part in her change. Without her, she doesn't know where she would be.

"So for all the horrible things the Capitol has done, at least they brought us together. It's the least we can do to give em a good show while we figure out how to save everyone else we care about!"
And to that note Harley had turned once more sharply and was pointed to the middle of the mall. Elsa could see where the railing had been smashed clean off and there was a suspiciously SUV shaped gap which they were now racing for. They were on the third floor and at the bottom was an ice rink.
Harley's grin stretched from ear to ear though as she put the pedal to the floor and the SUV began to pick up speed.
"Ready to try defying gravity?" Harley called gleefully in an unintentional reference to something else entirely.

It's when Harley asks that question and she catches sight of what Harley means that she suddenly feels her stomach clench in nervousness. It's that sort of excited nervous where you're torn between backing out of something and just throwing yourself at it, and honestly Elsa is at the point where she's leaning towards going for it.
So with a deep breath, she gives Harley a nod.
"Go for it."

The moment the front of the car had gone over the edge they would feel the clashing of gravity vs. momentum. Harley's stomach lurched and flipped churning with flutters and adrenaline. The view of the third floor flew above them as they soared through the air.
The second floor was rising to meet them fast, and if Elsa still had her eyes open she could see the gap Harley was aiming for. The impact was jarring as they hit hard enough for the squealing of tires, the crunching of tiles and groaning of the SUV's suspension.
The car twisted and flipped around coming to a sliding stop inches away from the wall.

But all things considered, that was the most exciting thing she's ever experienced.
Elsa is breathing heavily when they finally come to a stop, her eyes wide and body shaking. All of a sudden, she's bursting out laughing and offering no explanation as to why- maybe she doesn't even know, but it's certainly the built up adrenaline having a lot to do with it.

"What a rush!" She whooped "You wanna turn? There's still one more floor between us and the ground." she teased before winking playfully. "Or we could take this date to the movie theater. the shows are lousy but we can make fun of them at least."
no subject
Different.
And it takes a moment for Elsa to register what Harley said. "Wh- oh... Oh, sure. I mean, I think- a movie would be lovely."
no subject
Then without further provocation, without even a warning! Harley drew closer pressing her lips to Elsa's.
The older woman's lips were warm and softer then the black lipstick would suggest. There's a hot of sugar cookies and the scent of cotton candy.
A drawn out kiss, to the tune of polka music.

But despite that, after freezing up completely for a long moment, Elsa found herself leaning into it, if out of some basic instinct more than anything else. For so long, she had wondered what it would be like to have her first kiss and- well, this wasn't how she had expected it to go. Especially because in her mind, it had always been with a man. Never a woman.
Dave's voice, however, rang in her mind. You deserve some you time. And she couldn't deny that she didn't like the way it felt, because it felt amazing. Harley's lips were so soft and so warm, she could never have imagined that a kiss could make her feel this way. It was... better than she expected. So was it really wrong to enjoy it? More than anything, though, she couldn't help but feel like it was out of character. There was a difference between enjoying a car ride, and then kissing someone.
She didn't know what to do, and it scared her. Maybe it was the fact that she'd fell so hard for Hans, only to have it ripped away so quickly. Now that she'd experienced what she'd missed, she felt anxiety gripping at her. This could go so wrong, in so many ways. She liked it, but it scared her at the same time.
Before she could really think, Elsa pulled away. Her cheeks were red, and she found herself stuttering, trying to get something out. "H-Harley, I-" What? She didn't know, really, but she felt like she had to say something. Elsa couldn't help but feel frustrated, too. There she had an opportunity to enjoy herself, to experience something new, to take Dave's advice and- and there she was, running away from it, because she was scared.
No.
The thought hit her so hard and so fast. No. She wouldn't let herself run away from this, not for the reasons that she had. It wasn't that she didn't like it, it was fear. And for so long, she'd let fear consume her and dictate everything. She wouldn't let it anymore. She was done being ruled by fear, and she would be damned if she would allow an experience with one person prevent her from feeling something like this. From feeling human, when for so long she had felt like a monster.
Without another thought, she pressed back in and kissed Harley right on the lips.

She expected Elsa pulling back, flustered and embarrassed. She even started to try calming her down.
"Aw Elsa don't worry-"
But before she could continue Elsa was kissing her back making her eyes go wide with surprise, before they relaxed and her mouth curled into a smile.
She kissed back letting her long arms slide around Elsa drawing her into an embrace. The warmth from her lips and arms radiated against Elsa and the polka music seemed to fade away while they shared this tender, thrilling, giddy moment.
Adrenaline always made kissing better. This was a proven fact in Harley's life.
Sure the girl was a little young, but that made it even more fun in Harley's opinion. An immature yet mature older woman drawing a younger inexperienced Queen into her arms, breast to breast and lips to lips.
And somewhere there was a bit of exhibitionism in it too knowing that somewhere a camera was catching all of this and the entire Capitol would be talking about it soon.

As Harley's arms pulled her closer, Elsa found herself complying, letting herself press against Harley. It was so strange, hugging someone like this. All of her hugs were usually pretty platonic, so to be kissing someone like that while hugging them was definitely not something she was used to- but again, it wasn't bad. At all.
So she let her own hands move to Harley's sides, before tentatively letting her arms wrap around her, too. Her heart was racing but it was starting to be in the excited way, instead of the nervous way. After a moment, she let out a small, happy sort of sigh against Harley's lips, not even thinking about the fact that the Capitol was watching. For one blissful moment, she'd forgotten they were on camera and that everyone in the world was privy to what was going on in her life.

"Mmm~ Now that? That's even more fun!" She declared shamelessly.

At Harley's question, she reached out and patted around for the volume control before giving it a twist so that she could turn it all but down. "U-Um... what usually comes next?" she asked, trying not to run away now that everything was real. Her fight or flight senses were in gear and she was trying very hard not to fly.
She was just very, very new to this.

"Well we can do some more kissing." She offered bringing a hand up to stroke Elsa's face once more. "We can go further then that even. Or we can go back to mayhem or the movies." Her fingers traced along Elsa's jawbone to her ear and along the edge of it.
"It's all about having fun. Excitment. Raw powerful emotion."
If you don't mind, we can wrap it up next tag and say they watched movies and held hands!
"Let's try a movie," she says after a moment, giving Harley a sheepish smile. "I think that would be fun."
Sounds wonderful :)
"Guess we're walking. It's alright, we can hold hands it'll be cute just like you." She declared unlocking the doors and undoing her seatbelt.
"And at the theater? Some snuggling I think." She added cheerfully.
