He did cry out then, the pain overwhelming as his ligaments tore - as flesh, muscle and bone were ripped from their proper place. Somewhere in the back of his mind was the cool, calm calculation. Seconds, if she hit an artery (she hadn't), maybe half an hour other wise.

He was dead, already, he just needed his body to catch the memo.

"You'll never... get out of here... alive..." He struggles to say, his voice cracking and creaking under the pain.
