Ugh! The apple hits hard enough to somewhat stun him, which means the incoming kick and attack from the spear and the stomping all hit him hard. He growls in pain. Good thing he's used to fighting when injured. He's not about to let this end without a battle... though he's furious at them for such a trick, and at himself for falling for it.

"Pathetic tactics to resort to..."

He immediately goes for a counterattack, taking a wide sweep at the two of them with his own spear, darting back to try and use the large thorns as a barrier. There's a sharp stab of pain from his shoulder, and then another when he puts too much weight on his foot. Any balance problem like this isn't good at all. He knows he's going to have to end this, bring one of them down to at least even things out... or else this could be it for him.
