One Irritated Riddick
WHO | Riddick and OPEN
WHAT | Riddick's hanging around being creepy and annoyed
WHEN | Evening of the Cornucopia
WHERE | The ruins
WARNINGS / NOTES | Riddick's dirty mouth and bad attitude
Not many people had tried taking Riddick out at the big shell thing. It was almost disappointing. But regardless, he'd hopped off his platform at last once the bloodbath had settled and sauntered off into the ruins to explore, ignoring the supplies left behind and the bodies fallen on the ground. Dark was falling now, but that wasn't a problem: he could stand a little cold, and all he had to do was pull his goggles off as the light dimmed.
In fact, he rather preferred it.
So he kept moving, kept his eyes open, and his ears alert for company as he sifted through the ancient equipment and rat-eaten refuse quietly and without really disturbing much-- but he wasn't here to kill anybody. For once in his life, these days, it seemed like. At least, not unless they tried to kill him first.

She had woken in the night, feeling wrong. Nauseous. The stress of the new arena, the cornucopia had all come crashing down on her, and she had slipped away from Some just a little to be ill. Except...in the dark she had gotten lost faster than a minnow can swim a dipper.
Scrambling back, she cursed herself silently for "hiding" so loudly.

But this wasn't most cases, and Riddick wasn't planning on killing anybody unless they were trying to kill him, first. That didn't mean he couldn't scare her-- she didn't know he didn't mean any harm, after all-- so he cleared his throat. He was a little bit amused at the idea of how high she might jump.

In another life saving move she let out something between a squeak and a moan, pressing as tightly into her corner as she could. With no idea of Riddick's skill, she was hoping she could just hide it out.
"Go away." She hissed softly.

Didn't stop him from tormenting her a little more, though. "Why?" he asked, voice mild enough. "I got here first."
no subject
She tried to take a deep breath, tried to remind herself that dying meant warm beds and good food and...and...
And a lot of pain.
"Please?" She finally squeaked.
no subject
"For what? You ain't gonna be any safer if I head out to another room, y'know." Might actually be safer if she didn't, since nobody was going to get past Riddick long enough to get at her, though she didn't know that.

Who didn't leave a lady alone when she asked for it? Really now.

"I was sure I was a goner there...." She said weakly, giving him what she hoped was a charming, thankful smile. Maybe if it wasn't so wobbly.

Apparently he thought she-- or someone, anyway-- needed to know that. Also, he was half-expecting her to be offended at his language. She did seem the type.

He thought he was being quiet as he slipped into the area, virtually unaware of the other Tribute who was there; the sound of his own breathing was too loud in his ears.

The voice was low and gravelly, and Riddick made no attempt at being anything but startling, hidden in the darkness at the furthest corner of the ruined room. What was it with the blonde, helpless-looking teenagers in this thing? Somebody really was sick, or just felt like watching people who'd be easy to slaughter. Which meant they were sick. Not even Riddick had the stomach for that kind of thing.
no subject
"Where are you?" He asked, voice lifting an octave without his consent.

He did ask, after a pause: "So who might you be, then? Since you're in my room, and all."

Draco swallowed thickly, glancing to the side, studying the floor in the darkness; he missed the blink of reflection for the most part, barely registering it in the back of his mind, and glanced back towards where he thought Riddick was. "Draco. Who're you?" He asked, trying not to sound as put-out as he felt. Mostly because if he couldn't find Riddick, then he could be killed, and if he could be killed, then he probably ought to watch his mouth.

Luckily for her, there didn't seem to be anyone around the building where she'd last seen those precious parcels of what she could only assume were food.
Even so, she tread quietly as she reached the corner of the building. She was used to permanent fluorescent lighting, and she wasn't entirely convinced by her ability to spot other people in the dark.

So he slipped out of the side room he was in when he saw her pass, and started creeping soundlessly after her.

Her breath hitched slightly as the realisation that she was being followed hit her, but she kept walking.
If she couldn't see them, there was a good chance they wouldn't be able to see her. Minatsuki reached up a hand and grasped blindly at the wall, waiting for a suitable doorway to present itself.

He did, however, intentionally nudge a bit of debris, making a bit of a rattling noise on the dirty floor a few yards behind her-- and then he silently stepped aside, so he was no longer where that noise had come from.

Where she'd expected to see another tribute there was empty air. Minatsuki slowly and carefully got to her feet, prepared to run if she had to. It had probably been one of those rats she'd seen running around. Probably.
Even so, she stood stock still in the corridor, wondering if who - or whatever - was following her had run away, or was still waiting there in the darkness. Unconsciously, she moved closer to the wall, protecting her back.

He did, of course, move again as he spoke, ready to leap back if she decided to attack. He might not be interested in actually killing anyone just for the sake of this "game", but he certainly didn't feel like dying yet.
