all good things come to an end
Who| Zelos and Susannah
What| Zelos learns not to underestimate chakrams... by lesson of death
Where| 6th floor
When| End of Week 5
Warnings/Notes| Death?
Zelos slid down to sit on the floor behind the same booth he'd met Joan earlier in the Arena.
He'd been staying to the higher floors since after that fiasco with the third floor, not wanting to get hit by some stray debris but without proper medical attention, his injuries felt like they were healing at a snail's pace. Especially with all the moving around that he kept doing.
He grit his teeth when he heard the ding of the elevator to announce a new arrival on the floor. Just his luck.

how hurt is he already anyway?
Hm. That booth might be a good place to hole up in, if it's not already occupied.
oh should've mentioned! he's got cracked ribs and a broken arm
The sight of a woman rolling towards him on wheels gives him pause, though. If she was able to survive up to this point, that had to mean she was either really good at hiding out or she was really good at taking threats out. Great.
"Looks like I should've picked a better hiding spot," he sighed.
ahhh, she should probably be able to see that (or at least the arm)
She stops the chair, suddenly, and reaches cross-handedly into a pair of bags lining the inside of it, pulling out a pair of metal rings, which she holds by the inside.
yup it's in a sling so
He springs out of his position, with a pained grunt as he aggravates his ribs for the hundredth time. "Whoa, whoa, let's talk about this!"
LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO REWIND THIS TO GIVE THEM MORE TIME TO TALK
And with that final cry, she's throwing the rings, aimed straight at his chest and throat.
ALL GOOD, THEY CAN TALK IN THE CAPITOL
He's fought with a chakram-user before, and never saw it as anything too impressive, but this woman was fast. He can't get out of the way fast enough, and he can't hold back a cry of pain that turns into a choked burble as the chakrams slice his throat. His final thought before the agonizing pain and his awareness fades away is, 'at least it was quick'.
yes indeed and perhaps there will be apology pie
She'll find Bert on the rendezvous point and bring him back here. That ought to be time enough for the Capitol to remove the body.
