WHO | What I am now calling the Dream Team (Ariadne and Don) and Sasuke Uchiha.
WHAT | It's Sasuke's time to die.
WHEN | Day 9
WHERE | T6
WARNINGS / NOTES | death

She and Don had been allied for a while now, and Ariadne was getting very comfortable having him at her back. Almost as comfortable as she was getting killing people. That was a disturbing thought, one that she would have to dwell on once they weren't in the Arena.

For now, they were hunting together - it was safer than the alternative - moving through the brush quietly, checking some of their traps as they went. It was too much to ask that they were totally alone; there were just a few of the Tributes left, but Ariadne had no doubt that they would all be seeking each other out at this point. She was ready, all the same, her ruined half-spear in one hand as she led the way.

Don was behind Ariadne, his turtle shell a better defense against anyone who tried to attack from behind. He had no doubt, as he quietly slipped along, that the number of Tributes was becoming very painfully thin - which meant that soon, his alliance with Ariadne would likely come to an end. If one of them didn't die beforehand, that is.

No. Don made a promise. Ariadne was one of the people Eliot had wanted to get out of the Games as soon as possible, and shell it all, he was going to see Ariadne get through this Arena if it was within his power. Which...actually looked like a distinct possibility at this point.

Still. There were, if he was counting right, at least three others left. That meant there were still others who might be just as determined to survive as he and Ariadne were. He had to keep his wits sharp; there would be no more rest. Especially not after that 18 hour coma he took after the last kill.
