It hadn't taken Pruna long to find the screen that sometimes showed where other tributes were. And so she was there now, on her tiptoes studying it before it went back to the people who wanted gold.

She could see the dots that were her and Pruna, and one or two more dots on this floor but none close enough to be of danger yet. She grinned and pointed to the screen about to explain to Sandy how they could sneak up on one of them, when a rumbling interrupted her. The ground began to shake violently.

She looked around, worried. "What do that be being?"

Pruna's glare intensified as she realised what he meant. "Yes be going." She told him, keeping the knife out in front of her, a warning more than a threat.

"I do be thanking you for the rescue." She said a moment later.

Sandy was only steps behind in catching onto his meaning and it sent another shudder through her. She'd been eaten three times already. She wasn't keen on a third.

"Y-yeah...thanks. See you later." She mumbled trying to play it cool as she mopped more blood from her face with the cape.

Even for the arena, this was too many close calls in a short space of time.

He bolted. As much to get away from their stares as from Sandy's fresh blood. Three steps away and he teleported, vanishing, gone.

Pruna didn't relax until he was gone, and then she looked around, checking it was safe before she poked at Sandy's face again, continuing tying the bandages tightly.

Sandy relaxed as much as she could, which wasn't saying alot.

But that's just as well, there wasn't much left to say. They'd survived for another day.

Who knew how many more they'd have together?
