Week 3
Who| Ian and open and then Ian, Cuthbert and Susannah
What| A catch all for Ian interactions in week 3 ending with his death at the hands of Susannah and Cuthbert
Where| Second floor (he dies before Wednesday so pre-fire extinguishers)
When| Week 3
Warnings/Notes: Death
Ian had found his way to the second floor, he had a guide to the edible plants that had been in the bag he had grabbed from the Cornucopia and so he was using the exhibit for most of his food, as to avoid the cafeteria and cafe, and therefore tributes who might be lurking there.
The burns had slowly gotten better thanks to the salve in the first aid kit, and they didn't hurt him anymore even if he had some scarring.
The animals here were creepy, he didn't like the way the eyes followed him. But he spent most the time hiding in the different exhibits, moving around. So far he hadn't met anyone who had been instantly hostile, but he wasn't stupid enough to believe his luck would stick.
The gift shop was slightly creepy though he had grabbed a black cap (with white print declaring TEAM WAXIMUS on the front), it made him feel a bit more hidden, even if it didn't do all that much.
He kept his eyes out for people, people who would hurt him or people he knew he could ally with. If anything an ally would ensure he could actually sleep, instead of staying awake fearing someone would stab him in the night. His mind was still working, even though he realised how badly out of shape he was. His first arena he had been in great health, his second he hadn't been too bad but now... He had spent the gap drinking and getting high, not constructive to the weeks of fighting and surviving.

Susannah > Cuthbert > Ian as the order?
"What do you think, Bert?" she whispers. "You could distract him with your sling while I wheel myself out and start throwin' this sharp rings here." She's referring, in fact, to the stack of razor-sharp chakhrams she's got on her lap.
(Susannah, by the way, is out of the ridiculous looking she arrived in, thank goodness, and in a tee shirt that says CAVE GIRL, a copy of Sherlock's coat, and real imitation dinoskin slacks knotted at the bottom of her stumps. Not that it matters, really, except the "dinoskin" affords her legs more protection.)
Works for me
"Not a bad plan at all, if you can throw those as well as you think you can. But if things go sour on us, I can do more than a little damage with what I have."
He tips closer to get a better look. And just because Susannah changed her clothes doesn't mean Cuthbert made the same adjustment. His camouflage drop seat onesie is proving to be more useful than expected.
"One should let the lady go first, but in this case I suppose that lady will have to be me."

He stood up, looking around with a frown, laser pointer in his hand like it was a weapon. Hopefully enough to scare away anyone wanting an easy target.

(And while Bert distracts him, she'll wheel 'round from behind.)

"Taste the berries, they'll be the sweetest of your life."

this might be a good time for eponine to show up?
"RIZA!"
--the two chakrams find themselves embedded in Ian's spine.
Re: this might be a good time for eponine to show up?
But this, she can. "YOU!" She roars at Suzannah, It's the lady who had cut her legs in the last arena, who had left her unable to walk for the entire duration. She sprints to Ian even as he begins to fall.

Another voice, this one all to recognisable and he blinked, opening his mouth though he couldn't find the air to speak. To shout, to tell her to run because she would die too. Instead he made a gargling sound, punctuated by a sharp sob.

"Wait here," eponine hissed at Ian, as if the poor boy was going anywhere. But the unspoken implication was, 'don't die', and it hung heavy in the air. She bent and kissed him quickly, before straightening, and running after Suzannah and Cuthbert.
"STOP! Madame! Monsieur! Stop and face me, you cowards! Come back and see what you have done." She laughed contemptuously. "COWARDS!"

"D... Do..." His vision span as he tried to call out, to tell her to stop, to not get hurt and not put herself in danger.

"We have to go now, I know that girl and she'll not be happy to see me here."
He will drag Susannah away if he has to, but he'd rather they both go willingly.
