What: Signless does a Bad Thing and sets off a chain of increasingly Bad Things because of it, a lot of people die

In his head, the screams alternate between being Signless's-- for all the things he's done, for all the things he let happen so he could feel fucking better about his heretical mutant self-- and being Karkat's-- who fucked around with him after being warned, who got to keep whatever hold he had on the Pyrope even despite it all and he knows for him that won't be the same. Karkat hisses at him and it only fuels it all more.

"Sorry?" He repeats. "HOW MOTHERFUCKING MUCH SO, VANTAS? As much as you are? AS MUCH AS ALL YOU'RE GOING TO BE?!"

He grabs the last unbroken limb and breaks that too, letting the crack of it wrap around him. He lets the troll make his noise. He lets him screech his hurts. For now.

"You won't be dictating how all this is going, a motherfucker is afraid. WE'RE HEADING ELSEWHERE. This will not be a pointless death. YOU, MOTHERFUCKER, ARE GOING TO HAVE AT YOURSELF SOME PURPOSE."

And then, he begins to haul him along.
