Who| Gaila and open
What| Gaila's going a little stircrazy and violent
Where| Desert arena
When| Week 6
Warnings/Notes| She will be trying to lure people back to her camp to kill them. Possible scenes of violence or seduction. I'm good with her getting roughed up or tributes managing to escape from her

Jim was gone. Gaila had seen his face in the sky at one point through the oddly spaced days and nights. She had allowed herself to cry for five minutes to relieve the stress of it all before setting herself to her task with grim determination.

She set out several times a day, She-Hulk costume deliberately ripped in an appealing manner, weapons hidden on her. She intended on winning this now. And because Jim was gone she didn't have to hold back any more. Her eyes were bruised and looking red and sore, as she did everything she could possibly do to make herself look like a terrified victim.

It was only a matter of time before she stumbled upon another tribute.

Before Sigma would go on to die at the end of Maximus' blade, that day he had been wandering. Still on his crusade to help those he believed to be particularly less fortunate, the Doctor kept an eye out for Tributes ahead. Though their numbers had been dwindling rapidly recently, it wasn't long before he stumbled across someone indeed.

Finding a shadow ahead, Sigma's electronic eye scanned the horizon, and though Gaila's costume made him feel more than a little disappointed in Capitol Stylist in general he was relieved to find someone he recognized. Perhaps the old man was not the sort of bait Gaila was looking to trap, but Sigma approached her with no ulterior motive. He could not forget her uniquely shaded skin - she'd been the one who had asked him to dance, wasn't she?- and Sigma smiled. Surely anyone that patient would be a decent person. She looked as though she were having a hard time, and so he headed forward obliviously, believing their encounter would be pleasant. Perhaps he could help her... he still had some supplies to share.

Sigma raised his hands defensively and with a frown. "It's alright. Don't you remember me? I'm Sigma. I'm not going to hurt you," he said in what he hoped was a convincing tone. He only moved his arms to lower his sleeping bag that had been secured to his back onto the ground, in case she believed he had hidden weapons inside. ...Which was true, but that was beside the point - it wasn't as though he intended to use them on her.

yikes sorry

Her- perhaps fake- tears softened Sigma's heart as much as it made him curious. He lowered his hands and tried to sound calm. It always paid to know which of them would backstab an ally. "...Stop whom?"

Sigma hesitated before taking a slow, single, step forward. "I understand your concern, but that isn't the game I play." He took a deep breath. "I have a son in the other Arena, you know. I'm sure he wouldn't be proud to watch me kill." He hoped the confession sounded natural, for saying those words aloud felt as though it could choke him before they left his throat (and Kyle would, in fact, be happy to see his father kill to survive).

"You don't have to hurt anyone," Sigma said calmly. "You forget this is a game of survival. Whoever has the most supplies, whoever can go without starving, they win, isn't that right? There's no need to take a life." It was like the Nonary Game: no one needed to die or kill eachother off, but it happened regardless. If only the participants would see another way..

He took a few careful steps forward. "I know," he reassured. "I'm not going to kill you, or take your supplies. Let's just talk, shall we, Gaila?"

The tension left Sigma's shoulders and he headed forward at a quickened pace. If he had had his doubts before, he believed her now from the bottom of his heart. "Are you thirsty? The waters have begun to dry, but I managed to secure a flask..." A drink should calm her nerves before he brought up her attacker again, he thought, and he still had the litre of lemonade hidden in his bag for himself.

As he drew near, Sigma smiled and extended his hand to steady her, their roles reversed since their last meeting.

Ruby's red dress was torn. Her red wig was long lost. It was almost impossible to recognize her for Jessica Rabbit anymore. Particularly when she had a crossbow and a scythe to detract from the images, not to mention the rope around her waist.

But she's still a tall brunette in a red dress. She knows people are going to stare, and since she's got the crossbow she doesn't really mind that.

Of course, it's nothing compared to this red haired creature. Even Ruby finds herself staring, a little uncertain as to why someone's dressed like this.

She made a small gesture of peace, keeping the bow pointed away from Gaila. So long as they were a good distance away, she thought it would be fine. If she pushed forward, though, she thought it might get a bit dicey.

"Do you?" she kept her voice low, trying to hide her nerves. There were a lot of ways this could have gone better.

"I'm sorry." It's sincere, but cautious. She doesn't step any closer to the woman - doesn't dare risk it. Gaila is an unknown quality that she won't risk anything n if she can help it. Snow's still out there, somewhere.
