Sigma was equally startled by Homura's entrance as he was Beck's, to say the least; having been too absorbed in finding the river, he'd been listening for the sound of running water and not for footsteps, and the sounds of the two breaking through the trees nearly sent him to an early death of shock. The Doctor flinched, doubling over and coughing violently into his arm as he struggled to stay on his feet - but not before he realized whom they were. Instantly relieved, Sigma did not run, instead waiting out the fit.
As soon as he recovered, Sigma cleared his throat and faced them, eyes bloodshot. "Beck. Homura..." Dr. Klim seemed to have a talent for embarrassing himself in front of the other Tribute, as this was not the first time Beck had seen him at his worst.
