Alex felt bad about making her move, he really did. But he'd have felt worse if he'd left her sitting there. Once the girls were safely situated at the wider end of the tent, Alex folded himself into the narrow end, placing his back to the storm. So far his tent had proved rather durable and quite flexible, and the additional weight wouldn't hurt in the least.
