Backdated: The great hunt
Who: Pruna, Sandy, Howard and Mickey for real this time
What: Continuation of their fixing Sandy thread, the actual Doki Doki hunt
Where: Candy arena, around the gingerbread houses
When: Week one so still in the day time
Warnings: Blood, small children using other small children as bait, most of these kids are warnings in their own right
Sandy was still alive, they hadn't had much in the way of bandages, just the clothes that could be spared, cut up and wrapped round her leg. On opening the package she had grabbed from the Cornucopia she found a box of antacid tablets. Medicine, a world away from anything she understood, but she gave it to Sandy anyways, it might help.
There was blood though and that was what they needed. Pruna lifted Sandy onto her back again and nodded at Howard. "You do be finding a good place." She heard a noise from ahead and frowned lifting a hand to signal Howard.

She didn't speak though. Barely breathed which was easier then she thought it was. Probably the blood loss. Her leg felt warm and throbbed with pain. Every time it was jarred or bumped it sent splinters of white hot agony through her but she had burnt herself out on the traumatic experience already.
If being bait was all she could do for Pruna right now? Then she'd be the best damn bait she could be. She owed the girl that much.

He starts to climb up the peppermint tree they're near. A series of bear traps they dug up from around the Cornucopia lay around Sandy like a hellish miniature Stonehenge.

Maybe they wouldn't come.
But as soon as the thought dared to cross her head some heads began popping out from behind tree trunks and cotton candy bushes.
"Crap." Sandy mumbled as the creatures smiled brightly and began trotting towards her grinning with razor sharp rows of shark teeth.
Clutching her umbrella tightly she aimed it at the closest creature...some kind of rabbit.

"Start singing!" Howard yells, before starting to sing Bad Romance.

She slit one's throat and tossed it towards Sandy to put in the bag, hoping the dokidokie's remained focussed on the one on the trap, a couple more had fallen into traps now as well, but they had to work fast before the live creatures ate the dead ones.

"Rain Rain go away!
Come again another day!
Let the sun come back to stay!
Little Sandy wants to play!"
It was a song her daddy would sing while rocking her to sleep for her naps. The rain never went away, but he always held out hope.
