Don had expected to start becoming uncomfortable from wearing the clothing he was wearing, but he felt surprisingly cool. Perhaps it was the fact he had a lot of white and lighter colors on it, and the hood. Not to mention the cloth wasn't very thick; he was lucky in that respect. It was a decent insulator for him, since he didn't sweat.

He knew he'd have to find water, though, and soon. Even if he could do fairly decently in hot for a time, his new ally (?) definitely wouldn't. Thankfully, that mountain was getting pretty close pretty quickly.
