If this wasn't a "kill or be killed" situation, and if nerves all around weren't already shot, Daniel would have had a hard time holding back the laugh at the way she landed. It had to be the most undignified turtle sprawl he'd ever seen. Daniel, out of instinct, started to step forward and offer a hand. He remembered just in time not to put himself within her reach. She didn't have the height or weight he did, but with how she'd fought earlier, it seemed like a non-issue.

Daniel took a step back, right as she staggered to her feet. Apparently he'd hit her pretty hard, because for a second there, she wove like a drunk. Thankfully she didn't try lunging at him just yet, but still... he wasn't about to let his guard down.
