The Tribute dropped, just like that, and whatever cat-like grace she'd had went right out the window at the same time. She dropped with as much dignity as a sack, and Daniel had a second to hope that one, she wasn't concussed, that he hadn't done some serious damage on accident, two, (and he looked around, quickly) that he wasn't about to have another Tribute trying to come up and stab them while there was an opening and three, that he hadn't completely destroyed her chances with the sponsors off the bat.
So far, only one of those was a sure bet. Daniel scooped up the bag, and then, after a second, picked her up and slung her over his shoulder. Leaving her out here like this would only mean she'd present an easy target to someone. Daniel couldn't let that happen; he'd have has good as killed her himself at that point. Even if she'd meant to kill him.
Daniel bent, and scooped her into his arms. Turning, he quickly carried her away from the carnage unfolding around the Cornucopia, keeping an eye on both the others and the woman. He had to find somewhere out of the way, make sure she wasn't completely concussed, and then leave before she got any ideas.
