It's not true what they say about Catwoman landing on her feet. Venus lands on her hip, and she can already feel the bruise forming by the way her thigh goes numb. She rolls back into a standing position gracefully, but grace and painlessness are not synonymous. Her mouth turns to a snarl and she whips back on Daniel, throwing a hand out to viciously backhand him in the neck.

She's angry now. Instead of looking like a winner straight out of the gate, she looks clumsy, and that's going to cost her. She'll have to make up for it in showmanship, and she fully intends to.
