"Monsieur." Eponine looked up at Marius, dazed by her fall, the pain that still coursed through her body.

"Monsieur - do you feel it too? Here?" She indicated to her arm, wincing as the movement caused the poison to surge once more. For a moment, she lay back as spasms overtook her, but as soon as she was able, she was pushing herself to sit up, to look at Marius anxiously.
